Well Done White Sand Lux team and Camille!

Truly excellent boutique hotel, with 1st class service and team. Attention to details is second to none. Our butler Idrissa was excellent. Food quality really good. After few days at the White Sand, we moved to another 5* hotel up North... Hmm... Not the same category.

The villas are beautiful spacious clean and beautifully decorated. The gardens around the villas were stunning and the plant name plaques were useful for the amateur horticulturist ;-) the staff is super friendly and professional. The food was great and there are some fun daily activities to enjoy. It’s a great place to stay if you want some luxury and piece and quiet! There aren’t even any sellers on the beach trying to constantly sell you stuff.

New Love

Our stay was more than I ever expected. My new beau suggested White Sands in Zanzibar for my birthday getaway. This is where we fell in love and experienced the life that would could have together. I would have loved him no matter where we were but White Sands made it the sweetest dream. We promised to do a two week stay next year. The private villa and the staff were just amazing. We had a butler who drew my bath in the outside bathtub...perfection. The food was also fantastic.

Most Amazing hotel ever!

Honestly the most incredible hotel we have ever stayed in. The location is stunning, right on the incredible white sand beach of Paje. The villa will literally take your breath away, but then there is the staff; nothing is too much for them at all, and the butler service was impeccable! Definitely stay here!

Beautiful boutique hotel for a relaxing holiday

We stayed in the 1 bedroom beach villa for 4 nights and had a very nice experience. Particularly liked the fact that the bedroom is a separate building from the living room that has a service entrance which gives much more privacy. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. The pictures on the site do not do justice to the property as it definitely is more beautiful in real life. Management was prompt to resolve some small issue and was very professional. The food was ok but nothing to rave about so could use a bit more effort. We can highly recommend this hotel and will be back !

Close to paradise!

Perfection!

What a stunning property! We’ve stayed at many luxury hotels around the world and this was in the top 3 at LEAST. Ground including the beach were immaculately maintained. Sargasso is an issue affecting many islands and coasts in recent years and we can tell you not all of them clear it from the beach. The villa (or compound as we called it) was just gorgeous. Soft tones and quality materials. The cleaning crew was excellent at being unseen. The plunge pool was absolute heaven. The villa had total privacy from the other villas and outsiders alike- and the space! So much room to relax. Plenty of beach bars and restaurants down the beach if you’re looking for a change. We can see why the staff had such genuine smiles because we were smiling from the moment we walked in. We would absolutely go back. It was perfection!

Gorgeous villas and grounds

We had a wonderful stay at the White Sand Luxury Villas. We booked a villa with private Jacuzzi. The bedroom was clean, very big and well furnished. The private balconies (one with the jacuzzi, and one in front of the bedroom) were very enjoyable with lounge chairs, towels and a view on some trees where funny monkeys were sometimes hanging out. On the first level there was a kitchen fully equipped. The laundry machine was very convenient for us after a 9 day safari. This space and the large living room was to be shared with the 3 other rooms in the villa but we never saw anyone else. We enjoyed the restaurant on the beach and the grilled fish they prepare daily. The other restaurant where we had our dinners (part of the half board package) serves small portions (fine for us) of really good food. I also enjoyed the spa and the spice massage, really out of this world! We also booked a trip (through the hotel) to swim with the dolphins and we did exactly that. It was an incredible experience. The boat ride was lovely, you can really appreciate the coast and all the fishing activities. The beach is absolutely beautiful, white, very fine sand, the ocean is warm and frankly without the fake Maasai beach boys that are sometimes very pushy, it would be PARADISE.

We travelled as a family of 4 , 2 small kids aged 4 &1. However we found this place to be highly accommodating for family as well as couples. We arrived just after 12pm and our room was ready. The services is excellent and staff members have high attention to detail and are also warm. Garden villa did not have a place to chill outside so we used the general pool and had amazing views and not crowded. We loved the Fresh sea food that was served daily. Lunch by the Beach was amazing- beautiful views and ambiance. Gym facilities are good so pack your gym attire if u into fitness. Hotel assisted with planning activities like going to Stone Town - may seem pricy but all worth it. Daily night activities - Masai Dancers, Dinner by the pool, Music nights - added surprise element to our stay. Book your airport transfers with hotel it is a lot better. Overall beautiful place with very high customer service standards.

Great Experience, Loved Our Stay

The Zanzibar White Sands Luxury Villas and Spa met higher expectations than I predicted! The property is beautiful and well maintained. The beach location is fantastic. It's far enough away from the busier properties but still within a reasonable walk. The location is awesome to watch and try kite surfing. The villa we stayed in, Cinnamon Garden 3, was spacious for the 3 of us and had adequate air conditioning. The only reason why I rated room cleanliness and comfort low was for 2 reasons: One, because there was definitely something the master bedroom that made me allergic. I had sneezing and watery eyes every night, which made it difficult to sleep well. There must be mold or dust in the air conditioning unit. It was very uncomfortable and the staff were unable to address the issue. As soon as I left the room, however my symptoms resolved. And the second reason is that the master toilet had issues with flushing. Luckily there was a second bathroom and toilet to use. The staff attempted to fix the issue and on the 2nd try - the repair efforts worked. We would like to extend huge thanks to the staff in the restaurant and to the staff that works as butlers for room and beach service. The food was great for all meals. We chose the all-inclusive option and it is a great value. We highly recommend it choosing the all- inclusive food and beverage option. Everything about our stay was great! We wish we could have stayed longer

Wonderful stay if not for the dishonesty

Great room, great beach. Ridiculously expensive food (I thought it was normal price until I got to another resort, where the food prices are less than half - Burger chips & salad $9 in Kiwengwa, not $16 like at white sands). Also felt very disrespected at the end. It would have been a wonderful stay overall if not for the incident at the end (dishonesty & disrespect).
