Steve and Claire are amazing, it was a pleasure staying at The Clifton for 2 nights, perfect location to the pier, seafront, pubs and bars. Rooms very clean and tidy, everything you need. Breakfast was brilliant, very accommodating with food choice changes. Cost was more than reasonable and the far better than expected for the price. Comfy beds, quiet area and we slept brilliantly. Ours hosts were so friendly and provided a welcoming atmosphere, we have family in Paignton and will 100 percent come back here when we visit again, thanks for a great stay, it was perfect, Ben and Hayley.

A great place to stay

Bed & breakfast or just room if needed. Options to purchase breakfast if required. The owners have thought of everything from ironing boards to usb charging ports. Even a tabletop fridge in the room. Location is outstanding. Central location without the noise. Will definitely return.

Nothing to dislike. Claire and Steve were the perfect hosts. Breakfast hot all the right spots. Claire and Steve were always on hand to give advice and recommendations on where to go for sightseeing or eating. They have not been in the property for too long and yes something's do need a bit of attention, but you can see what they doing. Rome was not built in a day. I would not hesitate to stay at the Clifton again. The room was nice and bright and clean. If I had to mark them and the property I would give 9.5/10

Had a wonderful 3 night stay in the Family Room at The Clifton at Paignton 😊 We were made to feel very welcome by Steve and Claire, who are great hosts and lovely attention to detail tailored to our needs Communication with the hosts before and during our stay was good too This property is in a great location and has some parking spaces which was fantastic for us Good breakfast options and lovely well kept property Would definitely recommend and would stay again if visiting the area Thanks Steve and Claire!
