Loved it for our family. Close to black sand beach. Great country setting in between everything. It was exactly what we wanted.One suggestion is to get groceries as soon as you get your rental car as it can be a bit of a drive that you likely don’t want to do right away but if that’s the only complaint then everyone that stays there is winning!

I had a wonderful stay at this VRBO. The property was extremely clean and well cared for, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and quiet—perfect for unwinding. The pool and hot tub were both great and added so much to the experience.A comfortable, calm place to stay, and I’d happily return.

Host was very responsive and welcoming and cleaning staff clearly does a very good job! Building was just old and had issues with cockroaches, toilet leaking/flooding, bathroom vents full of fuzz, and worn out wood and balcony flooring. Timed functions on the dryer had no heat. We had what we needed for the stay with all the necessary appliances and unit was well situated to access Black Sands Beach and scenic views. Grounds were well cared for. Koi pond at the pool was nice. It would be helpful to provide a little cooking oil in the cabinets. It does need a more thorough treatment for cockroaches and a couch that’s more comfy for watching a movie on but overall the unit was comfy for a small family stay.

Unit not handicap accessible
Unit was ok but not handicapped accessible to go to room and bathroom with wheelchair, door small client blind and amputation leg. We did manage his care while staying there.
I wish I could say for vacation but it was for my daughter’s funeral and that was a healing process. Thank you all. Overall very convenient for us the paina was at the big Punalu’u beach park. Overall this is a nice place to just relax, thank you all

Wonderful Condo
This condo was fantastic! I was concerned because there were not many reviews, but all of my worries were gone the minute we opened the front door. The condo was very clean and spacious! We loved the location and enjoyed being so close to Punalu’u Beach.
The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. This condo is in a very quiet community which made sitting on the patio and upper deck very peaceful.

Area and accommodation
Sea mountain is a beautiful resort..clean, quiet and very well kept. We loved the area..Na’alehu, black sand beach, and close to Hilo and the eastern part of the island.
