Every single member of the staff that I encountered were incredibly friendly, pleasant, and accommodating. The actual facilities may need some updating. But don’t let that deter you from the experience of being right on the shore. When I come back I’ll definitely stay at Coco Reef.

Spectacular views. Hearing ocean waves from rooms. Wonderful pool. Best beach in Bermuda. Snorkeling to reef, and boiler reefs right in front of rooms. Tennis court needs to be resurfaced. Close to downtown, maybe 2 miles. Right near rails trail and supermarket. Location and views. Best hotel in Bermuda.
The property is beautiful. It's right on a pink sand beach. The food in the restaurant is delicious, but the restaurant was not open Mon-Wed while we were there. The staff was extremely friendly.
The views of the ocean are amazing. The beach is a bit small but plenty of lounge chairs.
Property has only one restaurant, and dinner service was slow, although lunch service was very quick, but no room service. Pizza can be ordered separate from regular menu. Staff were outstanding and responsive, especially the room cleaning attendant. There is a steep climb from lower buildings to pool/main building, but ride is available.

The only highlight of this property is their private beach right on Elbow Beach. The rest of the place needs some revamping. But the staff hospitality is amazing. Lots of potential if they turn this place into a boutique hotel.
The food was terrible. The Pool was empty. Granted we were there early I the season, but that should have been disclosed.

Wonderful Vacation! My wife and I spent a week at Coco Reef and both agreed we would love to come back. As Floridians who live blocks from great beach, I can tell you the CR beach is great. We had crystal clear, warm (83 degree) water. You have to head to the Elbow Bay side, but it was really nice. Note that the resort is on a steep hill, so there are a lot of steps down to the beach! The ocean view rooms are all ~ on lobby level. The ocean front rooms are down, so trips to lobby/restaurant/pool are a little bit of a trek. As an older couple, that's why we opted for ocean view. Our view was almost as nice. I suggest that you consider the full breakfast plan as food is expensive in Bermuda and the breakfasts were very good. We also ate dinner there 3 of our 7 nights. Each meal was very good, though the menu selections could/should be expanded. Would certainly enhance dinner with more options, but found the food very good, comparable to all the other nice restaurants we went to. So keep your chef! Service overall was extremely good. The room themselves are dated but very clean and comfortable. The small lanai was a nice feature both day and night since breezes were fantastic. Negative in prior reviews was the front desk. On our visit, all the front desk folks were extremely personable and very helpful. Special kudoes to Steve, who was great. Only suggestion - upgrade beach towels. Overall, this casual, quiet and laid back resort was really nice.
