The hotel is a little bit of a walk away from the old centre of the town but this is by no means a long way. The hotel itself has been recently refurbished in the rooms and has been done quite nicely. In terms of value, it is the best one I have found in Padua. Would stay again if I were to visit Padua.
Clean 10 min walk from train station, excellent breakfast included! Rooms small but met our needs as just needed place to sleep as day trip visit to Venice. Staff helpful and kind! Not too much in way of restaurants in immediate vicinity but several with fairly easily walking distance.
The hotel is a good long walk from the old part of town. The rooms are very dated but adequate. There are a lot of drug addicts and economic migrants hanging about on the walking routes from the hotel to the town centre. Old Padua is lovely, sadly Al Cason isn't in Old Padua. The hotel is not particularly cheap and we wouldn't choose to stay there again.
This little 3* hotel is a short walk from the train station. Though the walk doesn't feel terribly safe as a girl alone in the evening, this is by no means their fault. The staff is very helpful and the service efficient. I had a jacket that got dirtied in travel and they very promptly had it cleaned and ironed for me, which was much above the service I expected. They were also very happy to provide me with paper and pen for some unexpected work. The free breakfast is generous but spartan, if that isn't too much an oxymoron. The selection of both sweet and savoury items is again very pleasing. Bathroom in the room was large and well maintained. Not completely satisfied with room cleanliness, because although the bed was made and the bins cleared every day, there was no fresh air as the windows needed a lot of effort to stay open, and so the room was not aired. In Italian summer, the air conditioning is vigorous, the staff helpful, and minimum travel time between meetings is a bonus. Will stay again if the opportunity arises.
We were here for one day before going to venize. Padova has its charm. The hotel is very old and needs a renovation but It is within 6 minutes from the station and super clean. Breakfast is good and so are the home-made cakes. The staff speaks english and spanish. It is a fantastic hotel to go and come to venize and save a lot of money. There are evening trains until 10:30 from Venice. I defenitely would come back to this hotel.
Conveniently located near Padova's train station, this is a nice hotel for the budget conscious traveler. Our room was very clean & spacious with a comfortable bed. The lobby, dining room, elevator & common areas all bright & clean, giving a welcoming feel. The front desk clerk, Danielle, is very profesional, attentive & efficient. Breakfast is quite varied with bread, eggs, butter, cheeses, jams, cereal, fruits, cold cuts, cakes, juice, coffee, tea & chocolate. Dining Room has a nice ambiance. Hotel staff are attentive & friendly. The hotel itself is good. The only drawback is the noise from the trains, so bring ear plugs if you're sensitive to noise.
Cheap ,honesty and clean hotel near of The PADOVA's train Station,Very nice staff ,good breakfast, restaurant is a good choice at night.Good shower and bathroom. An simple 3 star hotel with good location.
Pros: Easy to find, close to the railway station and the old town. OK breakfast, good coffee. Quite affordable. Nice staff. Cons: A bit run down and in need of renovation, a touch of the seventies? Had to open the window to get some air, which meant much noise from traffic and people passing the hotel. Said online that parking was free, but when we arrived we were told we had to pay €10. We parked in a nearby street.
The hotel is a 3 star & the accommodation is spacious clean & comfortable. The staff wer polite helpful & attentive. Location is good only 600 yds from the rail & bus stations. The historic centre is only 10-15 mins away. However, you can use public transport to access the main sites. Would recommend the Padua Card available from the Tourist Information Office FOR 16EUROS. The staff were really helpful & for 1 euro booking fee reserved our tickets for the cappella Scrovegni as you MUST book 24 hours before you plan to visit. This is free with Padua Card. It is worth knowing that there is a direct bus from Padua bus station to Marco Polo airport(platform 11)for 8.50 euros-regular throughout the day & takes approx.. 1 hour.
Easy to find and very handy location to railway station and center of town. Car park was either underneath or across the road. Had to pay for parking but free parking is further down the road if you want to chance it. Hotel room was typical European for an older hotel. OK but a touch on the small side. Nice view from our window of the railway tracks and large car park, perhaps better views on the other side. Breakfast was quite good and plentiful. Hotel staff were very helpful in the breakfast area. Check in and check out were both very efficient. You have to pay the city tax in cash but this was not a problem as I was aware of it. Considering what we paid this was a very functional, clean and adequate hotel for our 4 days in the area.
