We stayed here for a night after traveling from Florence en route to Venice, with a flight out the next day. Location is not very close to town center, but okay if you have a car to drive in to explore Padova. Hotel was very clean and modern.

We stayed one night driving en route to Venice because it was so late to drive further and the rate was much less than hotels closer to Venice. The rate without breakfast for Marriott members was reasonable but no free breakfast for platinum although coffee was given.Much like a Courtyard-no club. The hotel is not in a great location-just off the highway with nothing much walkable. We ate at the hotel as we were too tired to drive anywhere. The hotel was basic, clean, quiet. The hotel staff was very friendly especially Serena who checked us in and Sergio who did check out. Elio in the bar/restaurant area was very fun and friendly. I would stay again given the same circumstances of being in the area.

We like this hotel and use it as our travel hub when in Northern Italy. This time it was for a 4 night stay. Suggested day trips include: Procline Factorys in Nove, American military support Hq. Vicenza Italy (NO entrance without an active or retired military ID Card), Castelfranco for city walk and lunch, and of course a day trip to Venezia (Venice) the city of canals. The Local ATVO bus for Venezia stops directly next to the hotel. Bus tickets are available sometimes at hotel, or you may purchase them on the bus for 6e. You can also buy tickets at the local ATVO bus station or at their Office directly across the street from the Venezia Boat departure point. Tickets bought in the bus office are only 4.60e or a 1.40e savings for each trip. Round trip Boat tickets to the main island are 15e for the day. The hotel is well maintained with free parking. All rooms were the same standard size with interior space primarily depending on the choice of a large queen or two single twins. Hotel rooms are not equipped with security safes but a small central safety box room is located next to the main desk. More than enough to handle any data requirements our room WIFI was measured at 21.53MBS. However, of the 4 AC/Marriott hotels we stayed in this trip this was the only hotel that did not provide wash clothes for their guest. Also the ice machine was not working, and the hotel made an extra effort to provide ice in small pre-frozen packages, though inconvenient you may be sure we truly appreciated this extra effort. Breakfast was more than adequate though not as elaborate as at the AC Florence, but they did provide us with eggs to order. We noticed that there was only one pair of salt and pepper dispensers for the entire dining room so you needed to go back and forth from your table to the buffet line if you wished to use them. The staff also had problems adjusting the toaster. During our stay I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to chat with the Hotel Manager. I found her to be genuinely receptive to my thoughts and sincere in her desire to continue improvements to this AC property. We are looking forward to returning again next year

Bed was comfortable but bathroom was small and dangerous, high and slippery bathtub, transparent glass sink and top, I was traveling with my mother and was very concerned about her safety while getting in/out of shower. Breakfast was minimal, does not look like the AC Hotels in the US. Staff seemed grumpy, never a cheerful "buongiorno", smiles, etc. Location appears as option for Venice but it is not that close. Cost and time of transportation for 4 people made it a bad deal to stay there, should have booked another hotel in Venice.

Location is good, walking distance to bus station to go into Venice. Bus fare was inexpensive and don't have to deal with traffic and finding parking space or paying ~€30 for parking at Tronchetto. Traffic was light on the day of our travel to Venice. Only took about 20-30 minutes. Best of all, hotel provides free parking and we felt safe with our cars parked there. Bus schedule was also convenient. Returning from Venice, even though we ran the bell to stop the bus at next stop, the driver kept going. Drive did not speak English. So mad at him. We have to walk more than 1/2 mile to get back to hotel. Not the fault of hotel but be alert where you want to stop and make sure you push the bell. Hotel Staff was courteous. Room was clean. Onsite parking was good. Biggest complain is the wifi performance. 12 of us were on a driving tour of Germany/Italy/France/Switzerland for 24 days, and amongst the hotels we stayed in, some in small towns, this has the worst wifi performance. Expected much better from Marriott. This is the second Marriott that we have wifi complains. Definitely hope Marriott will review their wifi systems across their many sites.

This trip everything at the hotel seemed to go wrong. The phone didn't work, the AC was broken, it was extremely loud with the train tracks next door. You could still hear everytime the tram went by even with the dow completely closed. There were only 2 pillows on the bed, which is the first time I've ever seen that from a Marriott property. The night desk person was rude. He said he couldn't bring an extra pillow upstairs since he was all alone at the hotel and couldn't leave the desk. But we saw him standing outside having a cigarette 20 minutes before when we arrived back from dinner. Talk about lazy! The only bright spot was the bartender-Enrico, he was friendly and accepted my help in making a fantastic martini.

We arrived at this hotel about couple minutes before 12.00 PM, when the front desk lady immediately recognized my wife as the Marriott Rewards member. The check in was fast and efficient. The room was spacious enough with modern style design. Amenities was abundantly available in the room. Internet was free for a limited speed, while the Marriott Rewards member will get passcode for higher speed. The hotel is strategically located for you who visiting Venice, as the bus stop is just across the hotel. It only cost less than EUR 5 for one way ticket to Venice. Very convenience. We had a pleasant stay and enjoy our stay at AC Hotel Padova by Marriott. Our stay will be even more enjoyable if our room has coffee/tea maker and bathrobe. I don't know whether all rooms do not have the coffee maker or it is only ours (we some space and the electric wall outlet that looked like designed for coffee/tea maker). However, it was a pleasant stay.

I would recommend this hotel for trip to venice is in industrial area but didn't really matter bus over the road to venice for less than 5 euros. room very clean bed very comfy bathroom lovely only down side no tea tray in room .on the first night we went into padova 12 euros each way for taxi very pretty town prato della valle in padova is lovely area where you can relax has little bars and fab food. only 8.50 euros to airport on bus and takes 50 minutes .the young man on reception friendly and helpful breakfast buffet style would stay again .

This Marriott hotel is everything as you would expect from a 4 star hotel in the 4 star category of Sheraton and Hilton. Rooms are very modern, with a business look and makes you feel very comfortable and pleasant. Enough parking spaces, free wifi and we especially liked the full glass sink in the bathroom very much (see picture). This will be our first choice visiting this area in the future.

We stayed here with our family of 6 - kids ages 20, 18, 15 and 10 - while on a vacation trip to Venice. Yes, it's in an industrial location. However, the rooms are wonderful! Comfortable beds, larger bathrooms than typical in Italy hotels. The air conditioning worked great for our stay. The hotel has easy parking and is next to the highway to get to Venice in less than 30 minutes. We went back to hotel in the evenings and then into downtown Padova for dinner. The family loved the quaint downtown area. Check out the restaurant Zairo! Excellent! At the end of our stay here, we returned our rental car to the train station and took an express train to Rome to finish our trip. Easy to return the car and the train station was less than 10 minutes from hotel!
