Mountain Frog Cabin - A.C./Sleeps 2/Hot Tub - 30 min. from Rainier/Skiing

A charming whimsical retreat in the High Valley community of Packwood, WA. - this retreat is close to Mount Rainier providing countless hiking opportunities; nearly out of the back door! Cowlitz River access is just across the road and a small walking distance away. There are many dvd movies to watch, CDs for listening & books to read. Build a campfire, look at the stars, read a book, or just enjoy the elk walking by. The house sleeps 2 (Queen bed), 1 on a sofa (if you wish but it is not a hide-a-bed). I love decorating so every room has special touches to make it homey and comfortable. If you are looking for sterile plain surroundings this is not the place for you. It has been decorated as my very own home and it is comfortable warm and inviting! I love Packwood and I love the mountains! Use of the seasonal community country club - pool swimming and golf are available upon request (time allowing for permission slips).
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can expect to find a TV with a DVD player. Other standard amenities include a fireplace, a coffee maker, and an ironing board.

Cozy Packwood Retreat

We had a lovely stay in Packwood and spent the days skiing at White Pass. The location couldn’t have been more convenient and the place was very charming! It was well stocked and decorated making our stay feel much more personal and homey. I would gladly stay again!
