Wonderful Christmas Stay

We enjoyed our stay at Cabin on the Ridge so much! The house was very clean and was perfect for our family. It was so peaceful there and we will definitely try to stay here again anytime we are in the area.

Great Cabin

The cabin is very clean, nice and exactly as described. Located a short drive from the interstate. The property is in the country but has blacktop all the way to the driveway rare in this area. Most other properties are on dusty gravel roads.

The place was gorgeous. It is definitely out in the back country but we absolutely loved it. The place was so spacious! Much bigger than the pictures. Had all the amenities we needed on site.

10th birthday trip.

Twins' 10th birthday trip. Our experience was nothing short of magical! Exploring the hiking trails and discovering various waterfalls added an adventurous touch to our getaway. The warm and inviting atmosphere of the house instantly made us feel at home. We particularly cherished spending time on the deck, surrounded by the serene views of cows, horses, and donkeys - such delightful neighbors! Being able to bring along our furry friend was a huge bonus for us, and we appreciate your pet-friendly accommodation. Everything about our stay was perfect - from the cozy residence to the seamless arrangements. We had a blast playing games and enjoying the speaker, creating unforgettable memories together.

Eclipse getaway!

We wanted somewhere away from all the eclipse (2024) commotion, and the house was perfect! Scott was great about providing info about the area, and everything needed as far as household items was more than adequate.

Cabin on the ridge

The home was very clean and had everything to make your stay relaxing. Yard could have been mowed other than that we would be back. When we arrived it appeared to have termites we saw in the living room and kitchen. We did however found some spray that seemed to work.Thanks again Scott we did leave after our run on Sat.

Perfect Ozark getaway!

We very much enjoyed our stay. So many little touches really made it feel like home. Condiments in the fridge, fans in each bedroom, plenty of toiletries and cleaning supplies made things SO much easier with our three little boys. We would love to stay here again!

Float trip

Second stay here. First was a trip with sxs and this trip was to float the Mulberry river on kayaks. We brought our own kayaks and were able to put in at Turner Bend and float down to the low water crossing at the end of the road from the cabin. Great trip.

Nice Getaway

This property was extremely clean and comfortable for all. We had four trucks and trailers hauling side x sides and had room to fit in the drive. Will definitely be back for another stay. Thank you to the property manager for his quick responses to my questions regarding the area.

Very nice home.

We had an excellent stay for a long weekend. Came to the area to ride sxs’s. Plenty of parking for at least 3 trucks and trailers. Had warm weather to start and cold to end the weekend. Both the ac and the heat worked great. Very nice area and home. Country setting. Can’t wait to return.

Peaceful Christnas getaway

We enjoyed the space and all that was offered. The Christmas tree was a beautiful touch and we brought our presents to place around. We used the games (tic-tac-toe, uno, checkers), watched plenty of movies on the road, listened to Christmas music on the record player, and enjoyed the heat from the electric fireplace. Scott is very responsive to messages, which was much appreciated. You can't go wrong visiting this cabin and watching the beautiful sunsets from the porch. A couple items as a heads up: The water pressure was a bit low, but not sure if that's normal or because of the artic winter storm that affected the nation a few days prior. In addition, it's a bit drafty in certain parts of the home due to gaps in the doorframe or baseboards. We handled this by placing a towel at the base of a door, using any of the multiple blankets offered while relaxing on the couch, or layering up. 🙂
