For a simple hotel this place is convenient, clean, quiet, and a good price. Also a great breakfast buffet. Basically at the Oyama station with bullet train access to anywhere.

I am an American so there were some differences from what I am used to, but overall I was very pleased with my stay and highly recommend this place. My room was small but cozy, extremely clean, pleasant and very well priced. The staff was sweet and friendly. The bed was very firm but comfortable and I slept very well on it. I did need to purchase a second pillow at the train station mall as only one was provided, but that was no big deal. A hot water heater and tea are provided in the room, but if you are a coffee drinker you can either bring some instant as I did, or purchase from the vending machine downstairs. Japanese style breakfast is also available. Bring your own washcloth if needed as one was not provided. I think this is the norm in Japan. A refrigerator, hairdryer and safe were also in the room.

A typical modest Japanese hotel. My only complaint is that key instructions are only available in Japanese -- the desk lady had to show me that the WiFi password is displayed on the TV screen, so that I could log into the Internet and look up how to control the air conditioning. Not a problem for local travelers.

Excellent value business hotel near JR station

No non-sense hotel with prime location next to JR. Small room and OK bed as expected. Bonus was a sumptuous Japanese style breakfast in hotel lobby. Excellent location for side trips to Hitachi Seaside park and Ashikaga flower garden

Convenient and clean hotel

Hotel was clean and convenient near to Oyama station. Room amenities are bare minimum but sufficient for short stay. Breakfast was Japanese style and not much options for foreigners.

It was a decent hotel, with a good breakfast meal, and clean rooms. The bed was very hard though, almost like a box spring with a little cushioning and plastic around it. We could not relax or comfortably sleep.
