The staff is great, but this property needs a refresh. I have stayed in other Barcelo properties and was disappointed in the condition of this one. The furniture in the lobby is dirty and should be either cleaned or replaced. The rooms can use a refresh as well.

The Hotel can use an upgrade. Furniture in lobby and dinning chairs need updates.The room was dusty, shower had great tile but moldy in corners of floor, bedding had small holes in it and the room needed a paint job.Amenities weren’t replenished. No iron or tissues in the room. However ,the staff was pleasant and location was great. Stayed in other Barcelona Hotels and was a little disappointed

Worst Checkin Ever

Probably the worst checkin we have ever experienced. We arrived after a very long journey to be treated with rudeness and disrespect. The receptionist raised her voice with unnecessary peremptory demands off us including one to copy our booking with you and e-mail it to the hotel! When we finally drew the line on this nonsense she resiled and promptly withdrew her demand….this lady made us feel that she was doing us a favour to allow us to stay in the hotel..a most unprofessional performance throughout. This is our first time to have to complain about a check-in.

Rather expensive but nice hotel with excellent staff. I didn’t try the breakfast so cannot comment on it. The hotel is a bit out of the way with about a 20 minute walk to the train station and a 15 minute walk to the main square but it’s in a safe area.

Inconvenient for 3 adults.

Room is inconvenient for 3 adults. Bathroom is super modern but open so no place to dress. Had to use toilet room for that and when showering undress in shower and throw stuff on floor.
