A private escape

A beautiful property on a working farm about 15min from the city. The grounds are beautiful and a perfect place to escape the crazyness of the larger cities. It was a great choice for a few nights on our honeymoon, but I wouldn’t have stayed any longer. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with good pillows and a decent bed. The service was excellent, someone was always around to ensure everything was okay. The 2 pools were also a great addition, with plenty of seating. We only wished there were more activities or things to do other than sit by the pool all day. The food, while decent, was also extremely expensive (€25pp for dinner, €3 for water) considering you have no option but to eat there during your stay.

Wonderful experience

We drove from Marrakesh to get to The guesthouse with our 2 & 4 year old girls; a simple journey and easy to find. The farmhouse quarter was fantastically spacious and beautifully decorated. The swimming pool area was wonderful for lounging and splashing around with kids. Food was served by our friendly host in our private dining room. All a real luxury..highly recommended.

We booked 3 nights in Les jardins. There was a wedding party on the Saturday so the hotel suggested we move to villa maroc with an upgrade. We stayed 2 nights there and 1 night in Les jardins. Both places are great with a very relaxed atmosphere and great staff. We definitely want to go back next year!

Amazing stay in a great place perfect to relax!

Staff: excellent. Hicham is a star and nothing was a problem. Very helpful and always in control of the situation. Thank you! :-) Premises: excellent. Our room on the top floor was amazing. Huge, great fireplace, comfy bed and good size bathroom. A problem with the drain of the bathroom was fixed immediately. Amazing light coming from both sides of the room. The private pool is gorgeous and very relaxing (perfect when day-trippers arrive from Villa Maroc to the biggest pool). Lovely gardens, very well kept and amazing animals all around, living in harmony (except for the goose!): peacocks, cats, dogs, hens etc. The big pool is stunning, it melts in with the surrounding nature and it's perfect to enjoy the sunshine with less wind that in Essaouira town! Food: breakfast was very good and plentiful and enjoying it sitting in the sun, is always a bonus. We had 2 dinners and to be fair, though quality was good and all fresh, they could be improved a bit in variety (would have liked to try something else other than tagine ;-) and as far as dessert. This would be our only (small) remark. All in all, definitely recommended and hope to be back!!
