Welcome to holiday bungalow "House by the Sea"! A delightful cottage, situated in a quiet spot on the small bungalow park "De Horrelshoogte," on the outskirts of Ouddorp. It's wonderfully located near the Middelduinen nature reserve and just a short 15-minute walk from the beach and the cozy, authentic center of Ouddorp. Whether you're seeking tranquility or a bit of entertainment, everything is within walking or biking distance and thus easily reachable in no time. There are beautiful beach clubs, several supermarkets, hiking and biking trails, charming shops, and plenty of dining options. In Ouddorp aan Zee, there's something for everyone!

The holiday bungalow "House by the Sea" is a snug and atmospherically furnished home with a cozy open-plan living and dining area. The large windows provide an unobstructed view of the garden. The kitchen is small but well-equipped with amenities such as a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a combination oven/microwave, and a dishwasher. The bungalow has two bright and spacious bedrooms, one of which features a bunk bed. Through the master bedroom with a double bed, you will find the bathroom with a shower, toilet, sink, and washing machine.

Das Ferienhaus punktet vor allem mit seiner tollen Lage – nicht weit von der Stadt entfernt und trotzdem schnell am Meer. Besonders positiv war der große, komplett eingezäunte Garten, in dem sich unser Hund frei bewegen konnte. Auch die Küche war gut ausgestattet und ließ kaum Wünsche offen. Die Kommunikation mit der Agentur verlief jederzeit freundlich und zuverlässig.Allerdings gab es auch ein paar Dinge, die uns weniger gefallen haben: Ein richtiger Kleiderschrank fehlte leider, was das Unterbringen der Kleidung etwas unpraktisch machte. Der Boden im Schlafzimmer war stark abgenutzt, sodass man sich an den Fugen leicht verletzen konnte. Die Gartenmöbel waren teilweise durchgelegen und im Garten ragten offene Stromkabel aus dem Boden, die lediglich mit Blumenkübeln abgedeckt waren – hier besteht aus unserer Sicht Verbesserungsbedarf. Für vier Personen und einen Hund wirkte das Haus insgesamt etwas eng. Es war zwar gemütlich, hatte aber stellenweise einen in die Jahre gekommenen Eindruck.Fazit: Für einen Kurzurlaub in guter Lage und mit Hund ist das Haus in Ordnung, allerdings könnten ein paar Renovierungen und kleine Verbesserungen den Aufenthalt deutlich angenehmer machen.

Erholsamer Urlaub

Das Häuschen ist wie auf den Bildern zu sehen etwas älter, aber sehr nett und ansprechend eingerichtet und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Das Grundstück ist eingezäunt, das hat uns als Hundebesitzer gut gefallen. Der Park ist sehr ruhig und man ist in 15 min zu Fuß am sehr breiten Strand und am Dünengebiet. In die „City“ mit den Restaurants läuft man ca 20 min. Wer Ruhe sucht und auf größeren Komfort verzichten kann, ist hier mit Hund richtig aufgehoben.

Überteuerte Unterkunft mit schlechten Standards

Diese Unterkunft hat uns im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes enttäuscht. Als wir reinkamen in den Garten die Tür ist immer offen kann man nur verriegeln wenn man drin ist wenn man raus geht steht sie offen. Der Garten war sehr ungepflegt hinterm Haus Meter hohes Gras, Beete ungepflegt zwischen den Steinen Gras. Das Haus ist für 4 Personen aber nur eine Liege da. Wir haben den ungepflegten Garten gemeldet es sollte 2 Tage später jemand kommen wahrscheinlich war auch jemand da da die Liege anders stand aber gesehen das sich was verändert hat haben wir nicht. Das Grundstück ist als eingezäunt angegeben auf der einen Seite nicht mal Knie hoch und unten durchlässig mit 2 Hunden eine Zumutung. Im hinteren Teil des Garten hatte es ein Tor was nicht richtig geschlossen war und durch starken Wind aufging dort ist einer meiner Hunde ab und zum Nachbar im Garten. Mein Mann musste das Tor provisorisch herrichten das es geschlossen bleibt.Betten man schläft wie auf einem Brett auf allen Betten. Für das Ehebett gab es im Abstellager eine Weichauflage diese war verschmutzt und mit gelben Flecken voll mussten wir dennoch nehmen da ich sonst gar nicht geschlafen hätte. Kleiderschränke gibt es nicht. Man lebt aus dem Koffer.Alles im Haus wirkt wie ein Sammelsorium. Für den Preis absolut nicht empfehlenswert.
