Clean, quiet, nice staff

Our requirements were a hotel in a quiet part of town with a decent restaurant and parking nearby for the car, as part of a short stop-over during a trip from France to Sweden. Reception staff were very nice, room was fairly minimalistic but clean and modern. Bathroom was new and facilities were fresh. Down the road (200 m) we found a nice bakery where we could buy pastries and sandwiches for a day outing. The restaurant served traditional German food and it was nicely prepared. Staff were attentive and friendly. Since this hotel is on the outskirts of town, there's not a great deal going on in the area, but that suited us fine since the city centre was only a few kilometres away. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and found it to be very good for what we paid. We gladly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in a quiet part of town and has a car to travel into the centre.

Hotel westerkamp is a well presented hotel 5 min taxi from the aldstadt of osnabruck. It is on a main road so can be a little noisy at night It is a well presented hotel with typical German features Parking is limited and tight to manoeuvre The breakfast and meals in the hotel are very good

Parking lot is very small

The location was fine; okay but not great. The parking lot is VERY small and the secondary lot down the street feels dicey. The hotel turns off the elevator to the lobby at night and if you come down the stairs, you need a key to get out. Kind of scary.
