Stayed here one night and the hotel really lived up to my expectations. The receiption staff was friendly and service oriented. I checked in online and obtained the key from the checkin machine. Hotel was located close to Karl Johan, Royal Castle, Aker Brygge and lots of restaurants and bars in the area as well as shops. Short walking distance from airport train station. Good choice for long or short stay. The room was modern and cosy. Breakfast was nice with lots of choises. Highly recommended hotel.

So, this hotel was ok, the room was fine. A little noisy air condition so ear plugs are required. Breakfast was ok enough, good selection of warm dishes and cheese. terrible coffee. but all of this counts for nothing when I have to read spam emails asking for tripadvisor reviews after the stay. piss off, piss off and piss off. Don´t be a spammer.

Best beds ever. Supernice staff and very clean rooms. And 5 meters from everything you need to be near when visiting Oslo. Very good and quiet breakfast. And Cheap! Wont have to think about where to stay next time I am in Oslo.

For sure the biggest plus point of this 3* city hotel is the central location between the main pedestrian area and the harbour side of Akerbrygge with its wide variety of restaurants. Lobby is small but you have a machine for free coffee 24 hrs there. Check-in service was very friendly. The renovated rooms are small as usual in Scandinavia, but cosy and with modern features. However in all rooms facing the innerside courtyard, windows can't be open which I really don't like but I was able to change my room to the front side. Breakfast is nice with a large variety and also many healthy options.

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel in Sept. 2017. Surprisingly, the weather was nice and sunny. We were able to walk to most of the tourist spots nearby including the the National Gallery, city hall and ferry. The room is clean, but small, especially the bathroom. Just not much space to move around. The best is the buffet breakfast. Plenty of options, hot and cold items. If I go back to Oslo, would definitely stay there again for the great location and reasonable price.

This was my first stay at this hotel. I chose it because it was the cheapest option on pretty short notice, and I was only there for sleep, as I went out for dinner less than an hour after arrival. Smooth internet check-in, my room was at the 7th floor, with a nice bed, a desk and a chair. I suppose that the modest price was due to the upgrading that is going on, which may cause some disturbance, although not in my case. Breakfast was great. Basically an average hotel though, but the quality of the breakfast and price allows for four stars.

I have stayed here twice on business most recently in Sept 2017 I have yet to find my go to hotel in Oslo. Not a huge amount to say about this hotel other than that its very nice. Comfortable rooms. Nothing flash, nothing fancy. Breakfast are OK again no frills. I probably wouldn't go back as i continue my quest for a quality regular hotel in Oslo.

We really enjoyed our two night stay at this hotel. The location is perfect for exploring Copenhagen on foot and the price reasonable. The rooms were cosy, clean and the bed very comfortable. We had a corner room and did find it quite odd however that the window faced into the atrium where breakfast is served, meaning the weather is a bit of a surprise when you leave the hotel! The breakfast is great, with lots of traditional Norwegian touches. Given the high price of eating out in Norway, I would recommend eating as much as possible at breakfast to stand you in good stead for your day of exploring!

This hotel is in the perfect location. Close to the harbor and close to downtown. Very clean. It is a little quirky having the window open into the atrium, but it certainly isn't a problem. Modern bathroom, plenty of space.

The location betwern the parliament and pala e was great. We walked around the palace and on to the Vigeland sculpture museum. Being close to the ferry dock we could go to the harbor island or catch the bus to the Viking ships museum. At night it was an easy walk to the opera house. Again it was easy to catvh the bus to the Munch museum and botanical garden. There are numerous restaurants nearby. The room was immaculate Nd the bed comfortable. Breakfast buffet was complete. The staff was helpful and friendly. We would clearly revommend this Thon hotel to tourists looking for a comfortable base in central Oslo.
