THE THIEF Oslo We were very surprised with the hotel and location. It should be advertised as the best-kept secret in Oslo. Very modern and upscale. Just like the zone where it is located. Sonce we arrived it was the service and attention to detail. On summmer, there are concerts in the roof garden. a little be packed but with nice weather you can enjoy a great time.

There’s always something to live up to, when you are suppose to be a top (or the top) hotel in a Capital. I can honestly say that just half way through my stay I already know I only will fall more and more in love with the hotel. It’s all in the detail, and there are many of them! Looking forward to come back!

Beautiful hotel in Oslo. Location near the sea. Very nice room with stylish decorations. Amazing spa to relax in. Breakfast among the best we ever had. Service level super all over The Thief. Its pricy but worth the money. Roof top bar with a cocktail is highly recommended.

Had a great visit from when I stepped through the door and was shown the location of the roof top restaurant and bar area. Musicians were performing and it was so nice to be part of that experience. A special note regarding the wonderful service received from Denise who seated me with such kindness and respect. Solo travellers are made to feel very welcome here! The Arctic char was amazing! Perfectly prepared. Highly recommend and will return on a future trip.

Had the pleasure of staying here for 3 nights at the end of June. From the moment we arrived through to the day we left the experience was second to none, the whole team from reception, to housekeeping, to restaurant were all amazing, accommodating, personal, professional and caring. The room was amazing, beautiful view overlooking the Fjord and the marina. Lots of personal touches, turn down service, lots of amenities, and the most comfortable bed you will ever sleep in. The rooftop bar and restaurant is an absolute must, lovely food and drink, and attentive staff. Big thank you to the whole team especially, Jarle, Dominic, Joanna and Rajeev! Thank you all so much, was an amazing weekend, we will definitely back. Paul

A little off the beaten tourist path but with lots to see, do and eat nearby. Wonderful attentive staff made our stay outstanding. Rooms were nice and spacious with cool modern baths. We only had a slight view of the harbor but the nice balcony on the room was a plus.

Chose The Thief for a pre cruise 1 night stay. Great location to walk along the waterfront with a large number of drinking and dining locations. Rooms are excellent and the staff wonderful. Stay included a very nice breakfast. We also had a chance to try the roof top bar which has amazing views. It also turned out to be within walking distance of the port our ship was leaving from - so that was a plus.

We had been at The Thief for 3 times. The visit is always spectacular and great. The location is stunning and the view from balcony extraordinary. The staff is friendly and breakfast superb. The only negative aspect is the price explosion: in 2015 NOK 3300,-, in 2019 NOK 5400,- (same room, time and weekday) That's why I cannot give 5 stars.

Beautiful hotel, excellent staff, got the room I booked direct with the hotel and received the promised Oslofjord view and (tiny) balcony. Breakfast was superb, with friendly and energetic staff. At this breakfast, there was an Indian gentleman whose energy was contagious, couldn't catch his name unfortunately but his service was impeccable, along with the staff at the egg station. Location is ideal, but you'd need a taxi to and from the hotel as the flytoget is around 1.3 km away, so possibly a taxi from Oslo S or from the airport directly for around 700-800 NOK. Would stay again!

Really a perfect week-end at THE THIEF !! not my first time here, but what a pleasure to come back it was ! Great room with an amazing viewon the boats at sea to start with. Impeccable room service on my 1rst evening . Great people, so helpful and human,,a real pleasure. I had the good idea to try the rooftop restaurant this time,It was just delicious, and I enjoyed catching the chef going in the " roof garden" to pick up some fresh herbs himself !Thats the way it goes here : refined and authentic ;-) And I did take a wonderful -and well deserved- break at the Spa, so modern yet so peaceful. Time flies so quickly when one has such a quality time too bad i had to go back to Paris . I willl have to come back for the summer though, fot the music festival THE THIEF organizes in July. Dominic Gorham, THE best guide for your stay in Oslo will be the hosting the event, so It already sounds cool and fresh !!!.A bientôt, tusind tack ;-)
