Quality Hotel 333.5 out of 5.0

Three of us here for 2 days. The rooms are decent sized except that the sofa cum bed (for the third person) was a bit old and not comfortable to sleep on. Breakfast was good (had brown cheese!) and the staff is polite and helpful!
Nice, clean and tidy room with panoramic window and comfy bed. I did not have any problem at all with the noise. However I wasn't in the roadside. The breakfast was brilliant, wide election of quality food. Bit sticky cheese, difficult to separate the slices for some reason. The location was perfect for my business trip, however the price seems high to me for this location. Will certainly repeat in future visits as is the best hotel in the area.
This hotel could be so cool with a few small changes. The outside entrance area looks like a construction zone, even though it is not; the concrete walk is chipped and broken and need a good sweeping and maybe a pressure wash and the welcome carpet outside has seen better days. When I got on the elevator at one point, cleaners were onboard with large bags of garbage, which leaked on the floor. The leaked liquid was still in elevator when I went up to restaurant (restaurant was great). My room was adequately sized, but it was a bit tattered... the couch on one end was stained and unappealing and then bathroom was dark and crowded. The towels were old and a bit threadbare in areas. I can be a bit picky, but I expect better.
It's a fresh Hotell of medium standard.. The room I get was way to small and on the border for accepted. The breakfast was of a medium level, I was missing lacto free products (only milk was offered...)
Modern and futuristic hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful and the service is good. fabulous breakfast to kick off the day. The Hotel caters to a lot of bus groups, so thee is a morning rush at times from these tour groups. there is good restaurant and bar upstairs, but there are no other amenities nearby, so if you want choice or options, you have to travel. Meal pricing at the hotel is consistent with what one can expect downtown, but overall, Oslo is very expensive. I stayed here because it was a Gymnastics Tournament official hotel
Oslo hotels were fully booked during our stay, but managed to get a room here with my family. Situation is in the middle of industrial area, no shops or restaurants around. In other words not a 1st choise for holiday stay with or without kids. Pillows are the first thing I check and have to say, if you need a good night sleep (surely a stressed out business man/woman does) pack your own with you. I hardly recognized what it was, what an outrage insult to all pillows. The room was sooo tiny, but I do understand that a bed is probs the only what a conference guest needs after a long day. So, the metro station is a bit walk away (would not reccommend at night time) and hotel restaurant is the only choise if you don't feel like going out. Luckily we managed to get a room elsewhere. No good vibes, absolutely not. One positive thing though: breakfast was great.
Stayed here one night while attending a conference. Check in was very efficient. I was in a double room facing the Oestre Aker road. For a double room it wasn't very large but functional. Sliding bathroom door was next to the bed might be a nuisance if you are sharing the room. Road noise was noticeable even from the eighth floor which was regrettable. Had to use earplugs. Toiletries are attached to the wall with a combination shampoo/body soap. Hairdryer is included. Flat screen TV, but not many options. Breakfast is included. Good selection of the usual items, but eggs and bacon were cold. Basic coffee maker - just black coffee. Ate dinner in restaurant upstairs with panoramic view of the city. Hamburger with french fries 200 kr. (23 usd). No other options for dining in walking distance of hotel. No problems at checkout or with staff service within the hotel.
I attended a conference in Oslo and it was at Hotel 33. The hotel is situated outside the center of Oslo. The center is however easily accessible by Metro in a short time. The conference facilities were very good. However the room I got was the smallest I have ever stayed at, my colleagues got "normal" size rooms, so not all the rooms are small. The breakfast was really good with a large variety savoury and sweet choices as well as good selection of fruits. Also I recommend to try tghe waffles with Norwegian Brunost ("brown cheese") and some jam, really delicious. The connection to the Airport can also be made by by bus which has a stop just outside the hotel and the front desk gave when asked -50% vouchers for the bus fare.
This hotel does it's job. Lets you have a good nights sleep. Breakfast is very good, and staff is friendly. The location is rather rural, and the the hotel atmosphere seems a bit out dated comparing to norwegian hotel standards. But all in all it gives you a good night, and the pricing is great!
Familyroom sleeping in the sofa wasn't very good, and bathroom was little strange because there no lock on the door and ligths was too bright, everyone did woke up when somebody went to bathroom and put lights on. But hotel was nice, clean and friendly.
