Great staff, location and breakfast buffet. The Junior Suite was perfect.

The rooms are absolutely nothing like the pictures. The rooms pictured are definitely suites - regular rooms are tiny.

The reason for the 3 star review is that there was a very loud party happening above us well past midnight. We tried calling the front desk and they said they'd take care of it. It continued. Then we called again and they said they couldn't locate the source of the noise so had given up. I told them the party was directly above us, and this time they were able to contact them. The loud party only moved out into the street. An hour later the party moved back in. I regret the way they handled the situation. The hotel breakfast was delicious, the room was nice and warm and it was in a good location for Akershus, Akers Brigge & the Opera House. Street parking was fairly easy for a Sunday night. We just had to get up before 9 to move the car. There is a pay lot about 7 blocks away.

Booked the hotel the same day. Was in a lively neighbourhood and central enough for me. Great restaurants around. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was on par with other hotels in Oslo, very happy with it

The staff was nice and helpful but the hotel is outdated and kind of rundown. I think it would be worth it to spend tje extra cash and stay at a Thon or Radisson. The rooms are small and not comfortable at all. The breakfast is highllight. Wouldn't say here again.

I had a single rooftop room. The room had access to the rooftop with a table and a chair outside. That's nice. However, the room itself was rather small, with very little space in which to move. Worse still, it was dusty, even though it had no carpet. The cleaning could definitely benefit from some improvement. The stuff at the desk was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, although the dining room space is small and convoluted and it easily become dense on weekends.

Excellent location, a short walk from the train station, major shopping street and all major attractions. There are a lot of dining options nearby too. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The room was a little warm, though I expect for most of the year this isn't a problem. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay.

The location is really bad. There is a bar across the street and it is VERY noisy outside. Since there is no air conditioner, leaving the window open was necessary. The noise continued to well past midnight. The restaurant is too small to handle groups. They ran out of napkins! The bar is ridiculous. The floor was never swept and the coffee maker was dirty but didn't work anyway. To think I paid for an upgrade. Horribly disappointing.

Room was small but very clean and modern. Breakfast was very good, although it got pretty crowded after 8:30 and it was hard to find a table. The location is great, as was the price. Overall, very happy with the hotel.

I had an overall good stay at this hotel. The breakfast is ample and most welcome, given the exhorbitance of Oslo prices for food and goods. The staff was very helpful and I was able to walk back to Central Station, though I found it easiest to take a cab from the station to the hotel. My only gripe would be with the room's bathroom. There was some sort of pipe exposed in the middle of the floor. It's a very small complaint, but something that a hotel of this stature should look into repairing. Good restaurant downstairs and a nice television in the room.

This hotel seems to run frequent specials, so if you are just looking for something cheap then book. However the low prices seem to attract a less-than- desirable quality of guest overall. Loud parties going on late at night and screaming in the hallways. The morning breakfast buffet is in a very small restaurant and is swarming with rude, frenzied people bumping into you, reaching in front and over your plate to get the last morsel of food before it runs out. No one seemed to be restocking the buffet or bussing tables. The frost desk people seemed to know absolutely nothing about the hotel or oslo in general. They were unable to answer any sightseeing or transportation questions and upon inquiring about complimentary coffee/tea during the day I was told that i needed to upgrade to a more expensive room in order to be eligible. Two days later there was complimentary tea/coffee suddenly available in the lobby. The rooms were OK, but I would pay extra to stay somewhere better next time.

This hotel is decent, as in it provides the basic needs. But it should not be advertised as "4-star." I had to call the front desk and ask for shampoo to be brought to my room, and for them to restock the little bowl of instant coffee/teas. The beds were not particularly nice, nor did the housekeeping staff make much effort to clean the room, barely making the bed, and just throwing the floor mat over the bathtub in the bathroom, but not doing anything else (such as replacing the used coffee mugs, actually cleaning the bathroom, etc.) Its in a decent location, but not the nicest.

The hotel was fine, the breakfast was excellent. The room though was small, with only desk lamps and no overhead light. Also, they say you can only smoke in rooms on the 8th floor with balconies (i.e., on the balcony), but when i was there the balcony was covered in 6 inches of snow...
