This hotel is only a couple of blocks from the train station. Walking distance to many of the tourist areas.

was as I expected for the price. has an excellent buffet for breakfast.

Breakfast was wonderful so much variety.Guests were from all over the world -- loved that! Location was just around the corner from the train station and lots of shopping/cafe's. Staff was hip and polite.Decent workout room ( bring your gear!). Great views high up. Rooms are a bit small but the bedding is so comfy. Felt safe as a solo traveler. I only wish I could have gotten some points for this stay.

I really liked this hotel. It was clean and the staff was friendly. It was within walking distance of pretty much everything in central Oslo, but if you needed public transportation, it was right outside the hotel. We arrived on the ferry from Denmark early in the day, and they allowed us to check in early for a reasonable fee (I think around $10). This place is also close to the train station.

I stayed at this hotel primarily for the price, and I was not disappointed. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, rooms warm, and staff very friendly. The location also makes it very easy to get to all of Oslo's main attractions. Definitely recommended!

I was very pleased with the hotel, and initially shocked with its proximity to the very center of the city. In a beautiful location practically overlooking the Norwegian Opera House. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Otherwise, the hotel was very comfortable: designed in a "youth" style, with a tasty breakfast, and wonderful amenities (a small shop, luggage room, internet, etc.). Very pleased with this hotel.

The hotel was perfectly located. Wi-fi was free. The breakfast was sumptious and had something for everyone. The rooms were small given that it is listed as a 4 star hotel. There is no water or tea/coffee tray in the rooms and that is a minimum requirement in ALL 4 star hotels. There are no cabinets or drawers either. To have a shower cap and soap in the tiny bathroom would have been nice! However, given all of the above i would possibly recommend it because of its location, even though it was an expensive stay.

Convenient location, adequate rooms, good breakfast

The Comfort Hotel Boersparken is a short walk from The Central train Station. The room is small but comfortable. We were amazed how comfortable the bed was because it was much different than we are used to. The bed has a thin mattress and comfortable 'under mattress'. What we really did NOT like was the soap dispensers. They were tight against the wall and provided only small amount of soap. We should have brought our own soap. The room only had 1 suitcase holder and it needs 2. The breakfast was outstanding with a wide variety. This was our 2nd stay and we would return.

The hotel's location worked really well for us.It is a short walk from the Central Station. We arrived by air but there is bus and train connections to the Central Station. We arrived at 10:30 am and we were able to check in early at NO cost. A life saver after being on a plane for 9 hours. The breakfast was good, but very different from a US type of breakfast. The room was small but adequate .I wished that they had 2 suitcase holders because the don't have a dresser. I loved the heated bathroom floor. We would stay again now that we know where it is. The staff was helpful..

Got there late on a rainy night walking from the train station - even in the rain a nice easy walk of several blocks. Staff nice and helpful. Room very clean and nice, with a good TV but few channels. Bathroom warm to the feet on a cold morning, with tub (though dangerously not flat on the bottom, so slippery) and good sink. Computers with internet downstairs, wifi in rooms. The highlight has to be the open area downstairs at street level and its breakfast bar - huge and well stocked 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. The only reservation we had was the noise. It was a Friday night and the street seemed to be right in our room, with people calling out to each other till 2 or 3 a.m. and heavy trucks coming to a stop and start at the light below. Overall a great value

Room was too small and everything inside was very old. The front desk people were very indiferent and it look like they did not care about their job.

When we travel, the hotel is not always the most important thing as long as it is clean, has a functional bath, a complimentary breakfast and a good location. Comfort Hotel Boersparken is just that. Excellent location, minutes distance from the Oslo Central Station (no need to take a taxi to get there), facing the Opera House and close to everything. We were able to walk to most of the city's architectural attractions, museums, shops and restaurants. The room was tiny, and the view from the window was not pretty, but it was very clean, and, since we spent only a few hours inside, it didn't matter too much. The staff was courteous and efficient. The best thing about this hotel, except for the location and free internet access, was its complimentary BREAKFAST. Absolutely fabulous. Make sure to arrive early to take full advantage of it. We enjoyed every minute in this lovely city, with so much to see and do, and if we will ever return, we might consider again the Comfort Hotel Boersparken.

By most location standards, we had an expensive room. But in Oslo the Comfort Hotel Boersparken is considered a lower-price hotel. Seems in Oslo you get what you pay for: hotel was OK but not great. In particular the door look worked on at random intervals and the staff informed us there was nothing they could do. Also the breakfast was spotty: no fruit the day we left; coffee machine sporadic and quality at best mediocre; sometimes had to wait for a table at breakfast. On the plus side, the location 3 block from central train station was great.

Walk to everything from this modest hotel with young, friendly and helpful reception personnel. Great buffet breakfast!!! Our room faced the Opera house and Court house with budding trees to provide a feeling of home. Only difficulty was in finding it!!! Be sure to walk straight out forward to the main street from the train station before turning left ti go down the street to the hotel. (i.e. don't go down the steps after exiting the main door of the train station). Maybe the hotel should put a walking map on their website.

Take the Airport express train to the Oslo Central Station, go out the main entrance, turn left, walk one block and you are at the hotel. Nice to be close but in a quieter neighborhood. Rooms on the front of the hotel have a nice view.

With a view of the harbor and the Opera House this hotel suited our needs perfectly. Only downside was that one of the two elevators was out of order. THe room was very clean, the beds comfortable, and the breakfast delicious. The staff was very helpful, even managed to successfully explain how to place a telephone call on the american mobile phone!

Great location. Excellent full breakfast. 2 blocks from express train to Oslo airport.

The hotel is a big hotel chain, but that is OK. It has a great view and close to the sea front and a great view from the blue bridge near the new opera house 1 block away. This hotel is near the harbor, and it is easy to walk anywhere within downtown in 10 minutes. the breakfast is buffet style, and huge ! Lot's of good food typical of Norway. The coffee and tea is very good and always free 24/7. This hotel was $ 140.00 per night in US dollars, about the lowest porice you can find in the downtown area. Great hotel...
