My checkin by machine experience was new to me but I managed. The room was very clean and perfect for my visit. The one negative was no parking. There was a garage but it did not belong to the hotel and charged for parking.

Convenient

Stayed in a junior suite this time (last time we stayed in a small double room which was very stuffy) much more room, we could open the windows and had a veiw of the street. The suite had smart television and as with all hotel rooms it seems you have to already subscribe to streaming channels which is difficult when visiting from another country, we also had a small fridge, a kettle, an expresso machine but only 2 pods for 4 nights, a couple of tea bags but no cups. We also used the laudry room and unfortunately 2 out of the 3 washing machines were out of order.The hosts were very helpfull and the communal area was kept clean & tidy and could be very busy. Very convenient for the Oslo central train station, shops, restaurants and sights.

Location, location, location!

This hotel is in a great location near central train station and cruise ship docking. It is very basic with machine check-in and check out. Therefore you will not have assistance for any questions however that is also reflected in the price. Luggage storage is available but not really safe as it is not monitored.

Everything we needed

Check in was very easy. Our room was clean and tidy and had everything we required. We liked the set up within the lobby where you could play darts or ping pong...or just sit and have a chat or read a book in a place other than your room. It was in a very convenient area with a nice cafe that you could access from the lobby of the hotel.

Great location! Beds were comfortable but room was super small for 2 people. It was fine for the 2 nights we stayed but would have been a huge burden staying any longer. The lounge area on the main floor is nice with games and seating. The breakfast next door was phenominal!
