Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka

I had an great time at this hotel. Location is great being right next to the subway. The staff was fantastic, especially the front desk! The room was quite large and just about standard to larger than US rooms. I only wish that they didn't pipe in such a strong fragrance in the lobby and that there wasn't a charge for the swimming pool

Staff made the overall check-in experience very easy and nice. Room was spacious and provided exactly what we needed, with a view of the city.

I ordered something and would like to confirm the delivery. Front Cash staff is very helpful to contact on my behalf. Great service and I am very satisfied!

Staff timely answered my question regarding how to get to the hotel with detailed and clear instructions. The rooms were spacious clean and comfortable with great cityview. We also liked the food at the third floor Japanese restaurant. Shuttle bus to airport is also convenient at resonable charge.

We stay in this hotel on 2 separate occasions on this trip, since our air flight arrival and departure were from the Kansai airport. On our first stay, we were upgraded to a bigger room than the second stay. Overall the rooms are clean and the beds were plush, however, like the other guests and mentioned before, the walls were quite thin. But since they are very polite and considerate in Japan, we were not bothered by noisy neighbors. It's very close to the department stores and train stations so u can easily find food and souvenirs close by. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there.

We had a wonderful time a few block from sgi awesome time

I was in Japan for business with my wife and made Osaka my hub where we would make use of the excellent train system such as the JR network of shinkansen bullet trains plus the local train network also of JR to bring us all over the country. The sheraton Miyako Osaka made the difference for our stay being our home away from home for 6 days.

Stayed here on a business trip. Very convenient to subway and JR stations(2 min walk). Good breakfast buffet

The non-smoking room have strong cigeratte smell. The hotel room likes very out-dated. White bathroom, white everything. Dirty old Carpet....

This hotel was very affordable considering the level of service. The staff was polite and efficient, the room was pristine and comfortable, and the hotel itself was very well designed. The location is not particularly lovely, but it is near a very good part of Osaka and the easy access to trains/subways makes up for it.

Hotel sits above the Kintetsu Osaka Uehommachi station which is super convenient as the station has lots of food shops, cafes, and clothing stores. Since most of the locations we were planning to visit in Japan (Nara, Kyoto, Osaka) were along the Kintetsu railway, this location was a perfect spot for us to return to. The hotel itself was wonderful. We had a king size bed and the room was roomy and clean. The staff was so wonderful and kind. Any questions or requests we had, they promptly assisted us. Would definitely recommend if you plan on staying in the Osaka area.

I (Osaka native) stayed at Sheraton Miyako Hotel with my teenage daughters for our vacation in Osaka. The room was spacious enough to accommodate three people. We had two stays, 6/25-6/29 and 6/30-7/3 and the first stay was with two full-sized beds and sofa bed. For the second stay, they kindly upgraded us to "premium triple" room with two full-sized beds and an extra bed. Both rooms are about the same size, but the premium room had a modern décor, which we loved. The location of the hotel was wonderful - it's connected to Kintetsu and two subway lines. Also there is a frequent bus service to Abeno Harukas. Instead of staying in Namba #Minami# area, which can be too busy and loud, staying here was more relaxing and convenient at the same time. One of the drawbacks was that the hotel room is not equipped with a real dresser so it was a challenge to store our clothes. Another thing was that they do not provide a free coffee at room. #There was an instant coffee at 380 yen but with that price, I would rather go to Starbucks and get a better coffee# However, these drawbacks are so minor and we enjoyed the stay very much. We will definitely go back again!

I liked the hotel. The toilet kind of freaked me out because it is also a bidet and I was worried I would be sprayed if I sat down. The challenge is transport to the hotel from the airport. The website says it has a shuttle. I assumed this meant it had a courtesy van. I spent quite a while at the airport trying to find the courtesy vans. I found them and the hotel was not serviced. I finally gave up and decided to take a cab. The cab would have cost $140 American each way. I decided to sleep in hotel. On way to finding a spot I saw a tourism help station and they told me that one of the public buses goes to my hotel. There was no way for me to know which bus to take, or that I needed to take a bus from information I had from the website I booked this travel on. The bus round trip was about $25 American.

Perfect location, next to Kintetsu train station and shuttle bus to KIX. Staffs were super friendly. The only complain was that their gym only open from 11am to 9pm. But that is alright for a short stay.

For the price I wasn't expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Super clean and convenient to get to by what they call a "limousine bus" which is a shuttle from Kansai airport for about $18. It's short walk to Osaka Castle and they have a department store next door. Highly recommended.

We loved staying at the Osaka Miyako Sheraton!! The location was convenient to alot of the major sites in Osaka. The price was great! The only problem we encountered was of course the language barrier. The concierge helped us out the best that they could. The dining areas at the hotel were very pricey so we ate out during our stay. The shuttle limo bus was a great way to get to and from the airport. We were traveling with our elderly parents so this helped us immensely!

I mostly stayed in, as I'd just traveled 27 hours and needed the rest. The room was spacious, clean and pleasant, and also quite large for Japan. The staff were helpful. Despite being next to a train station, the windows were well soundproofed.

Great value and comfort forspring weekend in Osaka. The quality and price point does not get any better. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again.
