the hotel is located within fair reach from subway and bus station is next to it - if you need something close by to the airport, it's not your choice however, it might take up to 100 minutes by public transport to get to KIX airport. the premises are clean and fairly pleasant. the rooms are spacious, and have really big beds compared to most of Japan's sizes. rooms are well equipped with all amenities. bathroom clean. breakfast could be improved, very few options to choose from in the menu.
I really enjoyed my stay there. They do very nice breakfasts. With plenty of different things to try. The staff are so nice, one young lady actually apologised for the airline losing my bags and kept me updated until my bag was found. They have a smoking area inside the hotel with an extractor. As well as a vending machine with beer and cigarettes and normal drinks. The area is noisy, lots of police car's driving round at all hours, but that's not the hotels fault, and it never disturbed my sleep. The TV in room is big and large, the room cleaners are professional, and every member of staff was kind and respectful. The 7-11 right next door is great as well, and I think really adds to your stay as you can buy pretty much everything, and because there is a microwave in the hotel lobby you can heat your food and eat there or in your room. 5 stars because I enjoyed it so much.
We booked quite late, so maybe we got a lastminute deal, but the hotel was better than I had expected for the price. Room was very comfortable (I booked a double room, for just me) and for me the room was great, large enough. With a singe stool. Bathroom is small but practical. The elevators are good. Breakfast was okay, but although breakfast was officially till 9:30, most food was one by 9. Mke sure you're in the breakfast room before 8:30 to have some choice of breakfast. And I was missing some international (English) news channel on the TV.
This is a great hotel, with a good location, near two subway stations, clean, the rooms are a little bit bigger than a traditional Japanese hotel room, the bathroom size was more than enough. They have a package that includes a buffet breakfast, highly recommended.
The hotel is a little bit far from the centre of Osaka. The rooms are bigger than the average size in Japan. The bad thing of my stay is that the hotel was undergoing renovations. Despite the noise and the difficult access to the hotel, it was a good value hotel.
The hotel is not that close from station. But not that far as well. When u took a train, stop at Hommachi station and look for exit 28. Then you just go straight until u find 7eleven. The hotel next after it. This is closest exit to hotel. Look for the logo insteas because i dont know why they didnt put the English name big enough. Room is small but enough. The pillow is super uncomfortable but the bed is. Bathroom is small but clean and all funtion well. Worth the money.
On the plus side this hotel has good wifi - password secured in the rooms and open wifi in the public areas. Another positive is that is close enough to the centre of Osaka to easily walk to areas such as the Shinsaibashi shopping district or the castle so you don't have to resort to public transport. The breakfast buffet is plentiful but fully Japanese with no western options (other than a mini croissant) but the orange juice is an unforgivable cordial rather than a juice. The rooms are clean (if you ignore the badly chipped paint on the doors and the worn nature of the bed bases) but they are very small with little space to put a suitcase let alone two? The bathroom is absolutely tiny, it is a prefabricated plastic room which appears to be fairly common in Japan and with barely room to turn around. Ok to use as a base for exploring but nothing fancy.
Even with renovation works occurring during our three day stay we would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for travellers looking for an economical stay in Osaka. Heaps of good restaurants within 2minutes walk, train stations to get to the Aquarium or Osaka Castle only 5mins walk away and Shinsaibashi shopping an easy 20 min walk away. I would recommend catching the bus or train to Namba Station and then getting a taxi for the last bit (especially if travelling with luggage) which will cost about 1000Y. The rooms are your usual Japanese size and kept very clean, and the staff helpful and multilingual. We got two twin rooms (not always easy to find on booking websites) for three nights for 50000Y all up.
You cant fault anything when you are staying in JAPAN !!! Amazing country with lovely people ! Same is applicable to the staff of this Hotel ! Though the rooms are very small the big hearts of Japanese people will make your stay comfortable ! Subway station is just 500 meters from the Hotel, However there is no JR station near to the Hotel. Rooms are small but comfortable. Bathroom is too small !
Stayed one night for business. Clean, good amenities and good hospitality. Price was too high for vacation season in autumn. Breakfast option is available with 1200YEN. Close to Hommachi station (subway), 10 minutes to Umeda, downtown of Osaka.
