As usual APA hotel, the room is small but pack with amenities. Staff was friendly. Try to chose twin when you are couple, bed and room could set bit bigger. Breakfast was ok, not bad with Osaka breakfast style.

Stayed here for 2 nights for city break. The location is very good, just outside the subway exit. Front desk service is excellent with smile all the time. The room is typical APA style, comfortable bed and clean bathroom. There is a public bath on the basement, it free of charge for the resident, not very impressive but worth a try.

Stayed at the APA tanimachi 4 during new year holiday as the rate offered was very attractive. Room was small but this's normal for Japan hotels. I had no problem opening my 28" luggage. Mattress was firm. Had a good eight hours sleep. Hotel had a public bath which was also good to relax your muscles after long walk. There's a subway entrance in front of the hotel. You need to change train going to Namba or Umeda. Overall my stay was satisfactory.

First and foremost, hotels in Japan are generally extremely, extremely tiny. The population density is incredibly high so don't expect hotels to have spacious rooms. That said, our semi-double room had very little luggage space. We had to open our suitcases on the bed whenever we needed anything. Not a very comfortable bed to share between two grown adults either. Only advantage of staying here was that the subway was literally just steps away and we could walk to Osaka Castle. Although not terrible, this is quite an expensive hotel considering the quality of the stay.

I booked two nights here and asked to extend today (16/07/16), and they more than doubled the price of the room i was in! They blamed on being a saturday and sunday, so i told them i'd rather check out and go somewhere else, and i'm so glad i did. The hotel has small rooms, and they charged me £44 for a small bag of laundry which extremely expensive. I've paid £2-£5 for a better job with more laundry in the bag! Total rip off in my opinion. Wifi wasn't great in the room either. Positive side is that it's near Osaka Castle and a metro station is close by. Nothing else good to say about it. Oh, the cleaner was nice.

I was surprised that this hotel room in Osaka was even smaller than my hotel room in Tokyo for around a similar price. The staff here are very nice and accomodating and the hotel decor is quite nice. I asked for a quiet room and I ended up with a front room facing the motorway, luckily the thick glass seemed to block most of the noise. The location is conenient in that there's a metro station entrance right outside the front door. Also the breakfast at the hotel was decent as well.

A little pricey but possibly peak season. Location right at the door step of 2 subway lines. Clean Good amenities Surprised there is no coffee sachets in room. Nice water boiler Staff was friendly and offered extra help when needed. For eg making a local call in Japanese to reserve a tour

The hotel is close to one of the subway station - if you come in by the main station however, you will have to change trains several times to get there, quite a hassle. Other than that, there's not much in terms of shops and restaurants around. The staff at the reception was the least friendly and engaging I encountered in my travels to Japan. The room was very very small and even though I was travelling only with a backpack, I had hardly space to put down my stuff. The worst was that the room was not clean at all - there was hair on my bed and the bathroom was dirty as well. The hotel is definitely overpriced, I wouldn't recommend staying there unless you can absolutely find nowhere else to stay.

Very nice hotel. Rooms are slightly bigger compare to average Toyoko Inn. The rooms are not big but have everything you need as a good business hotel. Helpfull, english speaking staff is also available to help you further. Location is ideal; only 50 m from Tanimachi-4-chome subway station.

The room is incredibly small, especially when you compare to Toyoko Inn Taniyon that just beside this one, the room even smaller than that which just half price of this one. But the room is clean, facilities in room are good, also the front is good too (They can speak English better than the beside one).
