This appears to be a family-run hotel, and the effort they put in trying to please guests is apparent, and appreciated. I'd probably normally give this hotel a 3 star rating (based on 2 star hotel expectations and the rate), but the extra effort won us over, and in the end we'd stay here again. Pro's: - The AC, fridge, Microwave all worked fine - They had a dedicated charger on one of the nightstands - Shades did a better than average job of blocking out unwanted light - Rates are excellent here & it allows you to maybe get in a few more activities that you might not otherwise afford at the resort hotels. - If you're looking to rent boats/wave-runners, etc- check out WFO rentals just down the road. They're fair priced & easy to work with. Cons: - While some people like the idea of hardwood floors (real or vinyl), I'm not one of them- it always feels cold at night & no matter how clean they are, you feel every spec of dirt; whereas carpet feels better & hides whatever dirt may be there. Bottom line- We'd stay here again.

I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel! It is one of the best I have stayed in, in a long time. It's the cleanest place I've stayed at. The hotel is newly updated! With hardwood floors! And the staff is so friendly and hospitable. The girl working in the morning( I think her name was Tabitha) was great! Very nice girl. Very helpful. She went out of her way to help us with directions to a place we were trying to get too. Superb customer service! The manager was also very friendly and helpful when we wanted to add another room. This place has earned a loyal customer from me! I wouldn't even consider another hotel in the area. Thank you Red Roof Inn Osage Beach for a wonderful stay!

Booked this hotel for a three night stay. It was a horrendous mistake. First walked into the room and saw the bedding had to be replaced (see included image). Brown markings (makeup...or worse, who knows!?) on the comforter. Bad cleanliness. The housekeeper assigned to my room had a helper with her to make up the bed...her own preschool granddaughter! I understand "family atmosphere" but, a Red Roof Inn having a child accompany an employee to execute duties...sounds strange, to say the least. Did I mention the room itself had a peculiar dank/old smell to it? Stayed two nights and then I had to leave. I tried to salvage my otherwise pleasant trip by checking out early. However, after assurances that my refund would be provided, the hotel would not issue a refund for my third night. I called multiple times after returning home to speak with the manager and he/she was not available, each time. I can understand a manager being busy once or twice. How about 5, 6, times over a 4 day period? Is there even a manager of this establishment?? I wouldn't be able to tell you, because I never saw/heard from him/her. No explanation. And yes, the elevator is noisy. And the walls are paper thin. I would not recommend this place for any future visit or guests inquiring. It is not representative of a quality experience, cleanliness, or customer service anyone would expect from anyone in the Hotel Management business.

Hotel is decent and was clean. Got a room on the 3rd floor right by the elevator. If you are ever given a room by an elevator and are a light sleeper, ask them to move you. You will thank me later. I don't think the elevator stopped moving all night! I know the hotel can't help the other customers and their noise levels but between the people down the hall yelling and running, and the elevator, I didn't get much rest. The breakfast was ok . Waffle maker, cereal, fruit, muffins, bagels... Not bad. Overall, I would stay here again and request a room at the end of the hall, furthest from the elevator!

The staff were friendly and the hotel was considerably clean. The hallways have a weird mildew/smoke smell, and the walls are thin. We were only there for a night and the cheap price was worth the circumstances

Nice place, friendly staff.Decent breakfast.Hotel seemed clean, weird smell in hallways, almost like stale beer mixed with cigarette smell. Not sure why as non smoking hotel. All in all we had a nice stay.

Absolutely blown away by how nice the remodel is on the Red Roof Inn Osage Beach! The owners even added SOLAR PANELS to the roof; LAMINATE flooring in the rooms (which should be a standard in hotels, carpet is icky!!); the pictures online are spot-on; and the owners are super friendly, & incredibly hospitable. The free breakfast was on par with the better breakfasts I have experienced at hotels - plus

I stayed one night while I was in town for a conference. The room was less expensive than the conference resort, and more updated, too. Everything was clean, the front desk staff was friendly, and the room was bigger than I thought it would be. This is not a fancy hotel, but given the obnoxiously high prices at the Lake for what are generally old and tired rooms, the Red Roof Inn is a better value. My only minor complaint was that I never could stay connected to the wifi - the signal kept cutting in and out. Given my limited time in the hotel, that wasn't a big issue for me.

I did an overnight here on Memorial Day weekend. The place was packed with families and pretty noisy, the parking lot was full. Room clean and property is just a little worn but comfortable. For some reason the phone kept ringing late at night is I finally put the receiver off the hook. Beware, the google map did not show where this hotel is. I finally called for directions. Had to leave early so did not get breakfast. Overall a good place to stay but not on a holiday weekend.

That is what my wife said as we drove away. It is a nice property which meets our criteria of smoke free and pet friendly with a handicap room. The staff was friendly and helpful and our room was comfortable. The area to walk our dog was grassy and they provided the pick up bags along with a place to deposit them. It is across from a small airport and I saw only one small plane take off and heard no other air traffic. We will stay there again.
