Had a good time. Family friendly . Will definitely visit again

We love this place so much! Great views and outstanding service. The Japanese gardens are stunning and there are countless waterfalls - we loved waking up every morning and taking a walk. Everyone on staff treated us like we were the most special people- and I couldn't believe how quiet and peaceful it was on our balcony watching the sun go down. Rooms were clean and beds were perfect- everyone slept great. Only "bad" thing about the place I can think of is this: don't eat breakfast at Soleil cafe in the waterfall atrium. Their breakfast sandwiches are frozen and microwaved.?- and very overpriced. Just go to HK (the main restaurant onsite). Don't forget sunblock! And if you bring bags of microwave popcorn you can use the microwave at Soleil cafe- ducks will love your left over popcorn...

This resort has been recently rehauled, and it shows. We enjoyed the modern furnishings in the room, and the spa as well. The restaurant was excellent, particularly the happy hour. All of the staff were super friendly. The only downside of the whole stay was how noisy the rooms were -- we could easily hear everything going on above, below, and around us. It wasn't a huge deal, but we were woken up by housekeeping next door, and defined tried to keep our own noise level to a minimum out of consideration. For heavier sleepers this might not be an issue at all.

The rooms are nicely appointed except for the pillows. Each one was rock hard.

Stayed for one night, only hiccup with room was shower head and water pressure was disappointing. And no fridge in room. Overall good room...

We just needed a room for the night while passing through. Pleasant staff, great rate, loved the lobby, clean room.

After the expensive renovations done at the Lodge they still have a long way to go. Poor housekeeping and waking up to ants all over our room made my mind up to leave and never go back!

The rooms had plenty of space. One of the pools was closed. Staff was friendly

Was under construction. Some amenities were not open.

We had a great time with our kids staying here. The breakfast buffet was the best. My husband liked sausage, bacon, and biscuits and gravy. It was served down at HK because Breezes was closed under construction. Everything we ordered from HK was wonderful- great cooks and staff. (If you buy buffet passes at checkin- you get a discount) We enjoyed the movie theater- they play kids movies at 6PM and other movies at 8pm. It's great that it's on site. We went swimming several times and the pool was clean/warm. Hot tub was nice. (Outdoor pool looks amazing- we'll have to come back in the summer when it's open) Great location on the lake- the kids really enjoyed walking the trails along the shore. We liked the outdoor fire pit sitting areas. The room was very nice- the place is going to look amazing when all the renovations are finished. Loved the balcony views. We were impressed with how friendly and helpful the staff was to us- looking forward to coming again!!

When we drove up, we were worried. The drive leading to the lodge was torn up, lined with construction cones, and was paved with gravel. My husband was none too thrilled at that point, but we went in anyway. the lobby is beautiful, and the renovations in this area look amazing. It is very warm and inviting. Then we went up to our room, and the same fear that we had when we drove down the drive hit again with the duct-taped elevators and half-painted hallways. But we opened the door to our room, and we were again surprised by the warmth and comfort of the room. It was super spacious, and you could tell it had also recently been renovated. The view was beautiful. The bed was comfortable. The linens were great. The only problem we had was with the temperature, but we assumed it, again, was due to the renovations. It was either really hot or really cold in our room. We ended up just opening the deck door when we wanted to let some fresh air in and to cool the room down. It was so nice out that it wasn't an issue. The TVs were nice, and there were plenty of places to charge electronics...the alarm clock was even bluetooth enabled, so we were able to play our music through it while in the room. The restaurant (HK's was the only one open due to being out of season and renovations) was awesome. We loved the bartenders and the food. We will definitely return, but not until after the renovations are fully complete and the lake is more "in season".
