A farm setting located 8 miles North on State Highway 7 outside of Ortonville, MN next to Big Stone Lake State Park. Since it’s so close to the State Park, it gives perfect access to the center of beautiful Big Stone Lake for either launching your boat or swimming on their public beach. It’s a great place to stay if you want to hunt, fish, watch wildlife, or just get away to relax. The farm setting is also in a great location to host family reunions. We can sleep 7 people. We had such a nice time staying here. We liked the location to Big Stone Lake State Park and Ortonville. We had all the supplies needed to cook. Everyone had a nice relaxing stay and we even saw deer, pheasants, rabbits and a visiting cow. There was a cute kitten at the house that was spoiled by our family. I recommend this home for larger groups. We had 7 in our party and enjoyed the space.
