Let yourself be tempted by our magnificent villa with private swimming pool, located 7 km from the center of Orosei. Our house is bathed in the silence of this pretty locality called "Gulunie". It is isolated from any urban flair.

You will be charmed by this property, from which you have a panoramic view of the golf course of Orosei. Next to the property is a magnificent little canyon, extending onto the beach.

The sea is 800m as the crow flies, 1.1km on foot. So, when you take your breakfast on the terrace, you will be entitled to a magnificent view overlooking the sea and the surrounding nature.

Rental preferably from Saturday to Saturday.

A great stay overall! We especially liked the canyon view from the terrace and the silence that was there most of the time. The main building has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, but only one toilet. The kitchen is well equipped. The lights are weak and some poorly placed. There is yet another apartment for two persons below the swimming pool, but it is dark and not well equipped / taken care of. There is also another building in the close neighborhood and on the same access road -- we could hear people talking there easily, so the feeling of privacy wasn't there altogether. What we especially disliked was litter in the garden below the pool, also around the house (less of it) and the owner's request to take all the garbage to a collection place 6km away! There they not only had different operating hours than stated in the house but also didn't observe them so the place was closed even though it shouldn't. The access road is good for any normal car, no need to be afraid.

We had a brilliant week at this villa. It’s beautifully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The pool was secure, a good size and the views were absolutely stunning. Such a peaceful setting!A real highlight for our children (and us!) were Oscar and Dante - the friendliest donkeys we’ve ever met. They definitely made the stay extra special.The only one downside is the lack of air conditioning which we were fully in the know of before we went, but did impact on a good nights sleep, though everything else made up for this!

Private with superb views

The property is in a rural and private location. There is a nice patio with a well maintained pool overlooking a valley and the sea. The views are impressive. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. Visitors should note that there is no a/c. This is usually fine, we had a few very hot days in August that made the nights uncomfortable. We bought some extra fans and it helped. Out of the owner's control - the road to the villa is unmade, so needs to be navigated carefully. It is a short journey to the sea and there are donkeys to greet in the neighbouring fields. There is a good Agriturismo restaurant in the neighbouring farm.

Amazing views

The pool and view from the property are exactly as the photos, out of this world, we had a great time staying here. We also loved the location, a nice quiet area, but a short drive (5 mins) to fantastic beaches, and you can also walk (20mins) to a fab restaurent near the beach which is a real bonus. A great location for exporing beaches, but also the mountains nearby. The property itself is spacious and has everything you need. No AC - so fans are needed, but we managed okay.

We (2 adults, 2kids- 3 and 5 year old) loved staying in This house during THE first two weeks of August. 1. Views are even beter than on THE pictures, you Can see the sea and coastline as well as a very panoramic view over mountains and a gorge. Absolutely lovely night and day 2. The villa is very private. No one can see in the garden area nor the house. There is very little sound from others, just birds and small animals 3. You are however not far from the main sights: beach with lovely bars and restaurants is 5 minute drive away, lovely beach towns about 30 minutes (take the private unpacked route that leads to the villa in the direction of the agrituriamo and continue this route if you want to visit the dorgali area, this saves you 20 Minutes each trip!). There is lots of discovering to do in the area and the location of the villa I great for this. One note, we felt there were less historic sides on the island than we are used to in Italy, but this has nothing to do with the villa. Main things to do are beaches, sea, restaurants, nature 4. Very good spot for young kids: the pool has different depths, meaning there was a part where our three year old of 100cm could already stand with his head comfortably above the water. This made it really great for young kids as they could enter the pool and play around more freely and felt more comfortable as they could stand. The pool was cleaned almost every day. Also the three donkeys at 1 minute walk are great as they live being petted. One watch out: the villa has two bedrooms sleeping 4 in the main house and then one little cottage unattached. This means that if you have more than 2 young kids I do not find it ideal as they would need to sleep away too far (about 40 meters from the main house, passing through the garden). This setting is ideal if you are visiting with different couples as you have more privacy or with older kids or if you have two kids sharing a room as we did. 5. The house itself is nice. We hardly spend time in it as the weather and garden were fantastic, but the house also was even better than in the pictures One big disadvantage are the many many wasps that come hunting for food which makes it really difficult to eat outside comfortably, even for adults. This is n issue for the island, not for the specific location, but we struggled with it as the kids often had about 10 wasps surrounding them and their food. Solution is to eat after 20:45 or inside.

A lovely place to stay.

This property is accurately billed. The views are magnificent. The property managed to cover all of our needs - a nice place with wifi to return to after a long day of climbing. The kitchen was our only disappointment, but with the addition of a few sharp knives and an additional cutting board we made ourselves quite comfortable. Communication with the owners and the caretaker was fair. The property was clean and well cared for.

Das Anwesen war in einem guten Zustand. Alles.funktionierte und es war sauber. Große Küche und Wohn- und Essbereich. Diesen haben wir aber nie genutzt, weil wir die gabue Heit draußen gessen haben.Jedes Zimmer hatte eine Dusche und Waschbecken, aber 2 Zimmer mussten sich ein WC teilen.Das dritte Zimmer war 50 ma weiter vom Gesamtkomplex entfernt und man musste ein paar relativ steile Stufen runtergehen. Dort hatte man aber sein eigenes Badezimmer mit WC. Die Aussicht war erstklassig, die Stille ebenfalls. Eine richtige Oase der Ruhe. Zum Erholen perfekt.Pool war auch gut. Wurde sehr häufig genutzt. Die Ansprechpartnerin war zu jeder Tages - und Nachtzeit zu erreichen. Sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit.

Awesome stay

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely secluded mansion so so very much. The location is just breathtaking, being on the top side of a natural valley with stunning views of nature and the sea. The site is very large, with only one other house on the property and far enough away to feel completely undisturbed. The pool has the right size for a family of four and provided a lot of fun times. Wi-fi in the main house is also great, while there was no reception of Wi-fi and GSM in the guest room (idea: bring a travel router and 25m LAN cable). The landlord and the local caretaker were very friendly and responded very timely. The road is a bit adventurous but we managed to drive from and to every day. Much recommended.

La maison ainsi que la piscine sont superbes. L’annonce manque de précision : la 3è chambre n’est pas au sein de la maison mais dans une dépendance. Ne conviendrait pas à une famille avec des enfants en bas âge. Une climatisation dans les chambres au lieu de ventilateurs serait la bienvenue. Nous avons été envahis par des fourmis y compris dans les lits, ma fille a du aller dormir dans le salon. Traumurlaub auf Sardinien

Wir hatten 2 tolle Wochen, auf einer traumhaften Insel, in einem tollen Anwesen. Der Check-In war derart unkompliziert, da wir uns per WhatsApp anmeldeten un bei Ankunft (11.00 Uhr vormittags) der Schlüssel in der Tür steckte :-), einen Willkommensgruß stand in der Küche (Gebäck, Wein und kühles Wasser). Die Sauberkeit und die Ausstattung des Hauses übertrifft Alles, was wir bis jetzt erlebt haben. DIe gute Seele des Hauses, Maria kümmert sich um alle "Problemchen" und Wünsche so rührend, dass man sich sofort heimisch fühlt. Beim Pool wird ebenfalls sehr auf Sauberkeit geachtet und ist von der Größe und Beschaffenheit prima. Die Aussicht von der Terasse über den Olivenhain zum Meer ist traumhaft und entschädigt für die schlechten Straßen der Zufahrt. Einziger wehrmutstropfen des Hauses ist die fehlende Klimaanlage bei stickigen Nächten, aber eine Querlüftung über die insektenvergitterten Fenster hilft hier. Die Terasse bietet zu jeder Tageszeit sonnige und schattige Plätzchen zum ausruhen, speisen, spielen und mehr. Ein Tipp: für uns war es sehr angenehm bei An- und Abreise jeweils die Nachtfähre zu nehmen, so konnten wir die beiden Tage noch zusätzlich genießen...

Ruhige Urlaubsdestination

Sehr ruhig und mit eigenem Pool, der auch regelmässig gereinigt wurde. Super Kühlschrank und gut ausgestattete Küche. Was fehlte sind Grillzangen für das Grillgut und eine Zange, um das Holz im Feuer zu platzieren. Einzig negativerPunkt, über den man aber hinweg sehen kann, ist dei schlachte Zufahrtsstrasse. Das Haus hat zwar 6 Betten, aber die Schlafgelegenheit unter der Sonnenterasse ist etwas unpraktisch. Speilte aber keine Rolle, da wir zu viert waren.

Gorgeous location, property OK but dated

A few things to note. The property is a distance from civilisation, which is great, however the land is shared with another property perhaps 60 metres away, the folks staying there seemed nice but meeting their vehicle coming the other way on the narrow dirt track was exciting! The property needs some money spending on it, the sofa is threadbare, the bedding is not good quality and the kitchen is in need of a functional as well as aesthetic update. Property Doors stick and don´t always close properly. One toilet in the main house is not great, thankfully there is another in the apartment in the garden. The couple that met us at the property were charming and helpful, the house is clean and the garden is lovely but keeping track of our dogs was a challenge (the area is not fully fenced) Great views and he nearby beach is gorgeous.

schön, aber nicht für alle geeignet

Das Haupthaus mit den zwei Zimmern ist schön. Die Ausstattung ist ausreichend. Der Pool und der Ausblick ist wunderbar. Das dritte Zimmer unterhalb des Pools war nicht für uns geeignet, da schlecht erreichbar, laut und nicht sehr sauber. Es gibt leider keine Klimaanlagen. Die Anfahrt gestaltet sich schwierig. Schlechter Schotterweg. Alles muss mit dem Auto gefahren werden. Die Kommunikation mit dem Inhaber war super. Für Familien mit Kindern, die Ruhe haben wollen, super geeignet. Für drei Paare in unserem Alter nicht so.

Wir hatten nie ein schöneres Ferienhaus!

Vom ersten Moment an waren wir total verliebt in das Haus und der Urlaub konnte beginnen! Wirklich alles ist so wie es auf den Bildern den Anschein hat. Selbst einer der Esel kam zu uns auf die Terasse ;-) Das Haus ist extrem gut ausgestattet (was man für ein Ferienhaus nicht unbedingt erwarten kann) und sehr sauber. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet, u.a. mit Kunsr eines sardischen Künstlers aus Orosei. Da Maria nur italienisch spricht, hatten wir im Vorfeld einen italienischen Freund gebeten mit ihr zu telefonieren und die Übergabe der Schlüssel zu besprechen. Das war sehr hilfreich und vor Ort konten wir uns mit Händen und Füßen (und dem Online-Übersetzer) gut verständigen. Maria und ihr Mann sind ausgesprochen nett und hilfbereit. Die Lage ist etwas abseits von Orosei, aber genau das war ja unser Wunsch. Mit dem Auto erreicht man rasch die Stadt oder den Strand. Der Pool ist natürlich ein Traum und erlaubte es zu jeder Tageszeit sich abzukühlen. Für uns bot dieses traumhafte Haus die perfekte Möglichkeit zu entspannen und Kraft zu tanken. Jederzeit würden wir wiederkommen! Und das machen wir ganz sicher! Vielen Dank für diese wunderbare Zeit auf Sardinien und herzliche Grüße aus Deutschland!
