Orleans stay

The manager was very accomodating to my son and his fiance. They felt welcomed and comfortable.The locaton in the middle of Orleans was perfect. Too bad it was too cold for a swim in the pool. It looked great.

It is a nice motel with breakfast included (seasonal) . Convenient location with lots of dining and shopping. Also has a nice outdoor pool Rooms are good size, bathroom is small but clean. Rooms on a second floor accessible by a very steep wooden staircases, that is a pretty good downside to visitors with restricted mobility or just large luggage I did not see an elevator :) nor was I offered help with luggage. Kitchen and breakfast are clean and cosy Overall, we did not have any issues and were pretty happy with the property for the price.

Room is remodeled (pleasant, clean) but carpet has to be 40 yrs old and smells of a febreeze-type spray (dislike the smell) With the level of upgrades I don’t understand why the very old carpet is still in this room.

The room was clean and neat but they use some sort of cleaning product that stinks. Everything I owned smelled when I left. I spent one night. I don't think I could have stayed longer. I could actually taste the smell.

This motel is one step up from a Motel 8. It’s low rent. Housekeeping does a mediocre job at best. The only reason to stay is because better hotels are filled up or the rate is low by comparison.

This Rodeway Inn is in a good location and has fair prices but it is not very good. The free continental breakfast is terrible. The employees were unhelpful and uncommunicative. It wasn’t dirty, but it also was spotless and left the impression that something could be less than sanitary in the room. Also, the beds and pillows were sub par. I would pay extra for a better hotel next time.

Generally okay

This motel is what you would expect from a drive-up motel. Everything was generally okay. Three things were problematic: the window AC struggled to keep the temperature cool; the bathroom had no exhaust fan and opening the small window did little to reduce the steam from a hot shower; the towels in the bathroom were stained and with holes- we didn't complain but bought new ones at the TJ Maxx down the street. But the price was good and Orleans was beautiful.
