The home itself was updated in very clean, which we appreciated right away. Unfortunately the rest of the experience didn't meet the standard we're used to. The kitchen had only the bare minimum for cookware and supplies. None of the small comforts of home that made a rental functional.There were no games, no extras and no personal touches. Much of the furniture felt cheap, wobbly, or poorly assembled. We were also surprised to find only one bath towel per guest, worn pool towels (not enough per guest), and no washcloths at all. The biggest disappointment was the pool. It had visible algae, and when we reached out to the host, we were told the pool was out of order and could not be used. There was never mention when we booked. The host later said it was listed in small parentheses at the end of the listing. But that information was absolutely not there when we reserved the home. The community pool area is very nice, but we weren't informed that a key card was required for access and there was no key card provided in the home. Overall, we left disappointed. We rent 3 to 4 homes per year and are used to a much higher level of functionality and communication. This stay simply didn't meet that standard.
