Beautiful Property

I have nothing but fantastic things to say about this home, and I would stay there again in a heartbeat! It is tastefully themed and provides a fun and comfortable stay. The games room and movie room are great additions to an already beautiful home. Our family went to theme parks every second day and on our off-days lounged in the house or at the pool which backs onto a natural area—we loved it!! Honestly, no complaints whatsoever.

Disney stay

The house was wonderful but had a few little issues. 1. Super spacious and best washer and dryer. 2. Water pressure for showers were amazing. 3. Was a bit warm in the house, had to always have the fans going, but loved that they had fans. The game room was fun but incredibly warm with an odd smell. 4. The fridge was warm for the first 2 days but then cooled down. 5. Loved that they picked up trash every day, but it has to be bagged and the people before us did not bag everything, I felt the cleaning crew should have bagged it, but it was left for us to do. 6. The drive way is tiny. We had 2 mini vans and had to let people out before we got into the drive way so we did not hit each other’s cars when getting out. 7. Theming of the house was perfectly Disney with out being overwhelming. 8. Pool is nice and clean, but small. 9. Everything was clean, but no extra supplies. Had an oven mitt, but absolutely no dish towels. We used a hand towel from the bathroom. Nothing left behind by other visitors, no salt or pepper or anything extras. 10. We did not use the resort facilities, it seemed out of the way. 11. Excellent bathroom space. 12. You are at least 15 minutes away from groceries and food. Not really close to much. 13. At least 25-30 minutes away from Disney parks if there is no traffic and much longer during those traffic times. 14. Subdivision was crowded and the streets are very narrow. We saw tow trucks almost every day. Make sure you are following the parking rules. 8/10

Nice home

The home was clean and spacious. It worked well for our family. We did have a little issue with trash being left outside un-bagged by previous tennents but was able to clear that up with property management thru texts. Also had a bed frame issue which property management sent over maintenance to fix promptly. Living room couch needs to be replaced and they could use a few more items in the kitchen (a cutting board, a muffin pan, kitchen towels) Otherwise, our family enjoyed staying in the home. The pool & outdoor space was nice, the movie room upstairs was great, and the game room kept the adults entertained. (Not so much the kids, as they are too young to play pool) All the rooms are decorated nicely and the beds are comfortable. A few more towels would be nice.

Some things to look out for

Overall the property was nice and inviting with plenty of space. I encourage guests to be attentive to the following: If your party has more than 2 vehicles, do not park on the side of the street (note that 90% of the neighborhood was also parked in the front of homes). One of my family members had their vehicle towed in the middle of the night. What made it worse is that we were checking out that morning that we discovered it missing. The rules on parking are contradicting and misunderstood by visitors as I found out. The instructions provided with the rental agreement say one thing while the visitor permit that you must display on your rearview mirror say another. It says to park within the white lanes, but the issue is that there are no white lines throughout the neighborhood. Needless to say, the towing company (driver) told us that they just do what their told even though the policy isn't clear. Additionally, the pool will stop pumping/filtering in the later hours of the afternoon. I guess it is on a timer switch that cannot be adjusted. This was confusing because we noticed both the jacuzzi waterfall and the pool jets stop working while we were swimming and the pool became cloudy after a while. I actually called this in and the resort rep that I spoke to couldn't tell me anything as to why this was. I noticed the next morning that everything was back working normal. Lastly, bring extra trash bags. The everyday trash pickup service is great, but if your trash isnt bagged and placed inside the receptacle outside then it will not be picked up. This is stated on the lid of the box outside the front door however the previous renters left trash scattered throughout the box and it was left for me to clean and bag correctly. Oh yea, one last thing. Florida drivers are not the best. Mix that with a heavy dose of construction everywhere and sprinkle in tourism and you have an insane recipe for traffic frustration. I-4 has got to be the worst in terms of traffic congestion in the state. On average, it took us 1 hr to drive 15 miles towards most attractions. Plan your daily departure times using a strategic approach.
