Sandy Ridge, Davenport, Orlando.

Sandy Ridge, Davenport is a vacation community set within lush conservation and is ideally situated within easy reach of the Central Florida popular theme parks and attractions (Disney's Main Gates are
only about a 15 minute drive away). This nicely landscaped community also has its own kiddies play area for those 'little ones' who still have plenty of energy after a day at the theme parks.




Being close to great routes such as Interstate 4 and Hwy 192 makes planning those all important days out to parks, beaches or shopping that much easier. Florida's beautiful coastline is also within easy reach and has many great beaches to offer, from the quiet white sands of St Pete's to the fast pace of Clearwater, and with one of the closest (Cocoa Beach) being just over an hour's drive away, they are definitely well worth a visit.


Although golfers will be spoilt for choice when it comes to golf courses, Sandy Ridge is within a few minutes drive of the popular Champions Gate Golfing Resort offering some great championship courses to suit all handicaps. A supermarket and various other shops opened in 2008 within a couple of minutes drive of our vacation rental home with additional shops and some fine restaurants located at a little further up the road at Champions Gate, with much more coming soon ('Down Town' Champions Gate). The brand new Posner Park shopping mall which is located just off US-27 has just opened its doors to some of the new shops with more opening from mid 2008 and throughout 2009 and with Hwy 192 offering an abundance of gift shops, food outlets, helicopter rides, a variety of fun family activities there is just so much fun to be had by all.

As an update to development around the area, there is also now a new Aldi and a Wawa opened right next to publix, just down the road from Sandy Ridge, and also brand new Olive Garden and Lone star steakhouse restaurant 5 minutes drive from the property just before you get to Champions Gate.
