No convenience of food. The market wasn't bad but nowhere to sit to eat because of people just sitting at tables. Our room had a dirty sock by the tv so it had not been cleaned well. Our fridge never got cold even after someone coming to check on it.

This is a very nice hotel in a wonderful location. We have stayed here twice before and enjoyed our stay enormously, Unfortunately, this time the hotel was very crowded and noisy, and the staff seemed overwhelmed. One of our group members became very ill during our stay, and we had problems obtaining assistance. The gentleman we contacted at the front desk did not seem to understand English and generally appeared indifferent to our concerns. Fortunately, we then spoke to a young woman who was more understanding and who contacted her supervisor who helped us. I would recommend the hotel for its location and amenities, with the understanding that you might not get the usual Disney service from all of its staff.

Loved our trip. Got a free upgrade to Club level - amazing customer service.

Incredible beauty. The landscaping, the view over the water, the pools with beach sand, and a sort of lazy river. And the restaurants were great! The service itself was not what I have come to expect and what sets Disney apart. We got the wrong room type, the restaurant could not seat us on time (although we had a reservation) and just a feeling of I don't care which I have never seen at a Disney luxury resort. The people in the hall ways didn't even say hello. Very sad to say that I would give the attitude here about 2 stars. The rest was 4.

We chose Beach Club for our latest trip primarily due to its prime location near Epcot and Hollywood Studios, and for the water park-like pool, Stormalong Bay. The newly refurbished rooms are lovely, and the resort has a lot to offer. I think all Disney resorts are overpriced, so to me the value isn't there, but it was wonderful for a short stay.

This is a great place to stay with kids. Easy walking to Epcot and DHS. The Boardwalk is right there. The pool is amazing, though it can be stressful finding your kids as they spread out in the huge complex. My 3 yo loved the beach pool. Our assigned room had not been cleaned well before we checked in. Some of the prior occupant's personal items were still in the room. We had to wait several hours before the room was cleaned to our satisfaction. Even then, the balcony was filthy and needed a good power washing. The staff was not helpful initially and we had to escalate things before we were finally comped the cost of one night for our trouble. For several hours, we were stuck waiting for our room to be cleaned. Not the Disney service I've come to expect and love.

Because this is a Disney resort I knew it would be nice. The restaurants and pools were excellent. Great location next to Epcot. Even get a partially obscured view of the night time fireworks at Epcot. Room was clean but seemed a little old/ worn out. Would probably still stay here again.

Location, location, location! Easy walk to Epcot, the Studios and the Boardwalk area. Lots of restaurant choices reasonably close by. The pool is the best on Disney property and the rooms are well appointed in a very reasonable size. Bathrooms are a bit small but the sinks are outside the toilet and tub area. Beware the walls are very thin - you will hear your neighbors and they will hear you. Housekeeping was spot on but the hallways were littered with service carts all day long. Its a large resort - do some homework for specific area and floor room requests. Great welcoming fragrance in the lobby with a wonderful staff. I'll be back!

This hotel was wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable. The best part was how close it was to Epcot. We were just a short walk to the Epcot Showcase gate. This allowed us to walk back to the hotel to shower and change before dinner. So nice after a hot day walking around Epcot. I would definitely stay here again.

Had a great time at Beach Club over Memorial Day weekend! Our newly renovated room was gorgeous and the pool was great. Walked to Captains Grille at the Yachtclub for a couple wonderful meals as well. The location can't be beat. Will definitely stay again in future.

Fantastic trip! Great location, newly renovated rooms are beautiful! Perfect hotel, great service. Disney never disappoints!

The property is in a great location for easy access to the Boardwalk and EPCOT, both within a 5-10 minute walk. The ferry boats, which run every 15 minutes, or so, also provide easy transportation to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios. The guest rooms are in the process of being completely refurbished, from floor covering, wall covering, and furniture, to window treatment and power and USB outlets. The Disney touches have, for the most part, been replaced with more of an upscale decor. The Beach Club shares facilities with its sister property, the Yacht Club, which will be redone once the BC project is completed, about the end of summer, 2015.

Having stayed only on the monorail for our past 6 trips I was nervous to venture off the loop. So glad we tried the Beach Club. It is now our hotel of choice. Lovely rooms and common spaces. Pool areas and beach activities made us feel like we were at a Caribbean resort. So much to do at the hotel that you didn't want to venture in to the parks.

I was really hoping for one of their newly renovated rooms but no such luck. Our room was on the second floor in a quiet corner. We didn't spend as much time as the hotel to make full use of the amenities so I think next time we'll get a cheaper hotel. The pool was excellent though!

I have stayed in most of the Disney resorts and beach club is my favorite of the Epcot area hotels. It is the most convenient to Epcot just a five minute walk to enter from a back gate into the park. The pool area is by far the best of any Disney resort with a lazy river and a great water slide. The rooms are large and comfortable. My only complaint is we had a room facing the parking lot by the entrance to the hotel.Which that would have been fine, but at 7am the maintenance crew use blowers to clean the front.Very loud and did not need a wake up call to get up.For the price your paying they could wait until at least 9am use blowers out front.

We picked the Beach Club because of its close proximity to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. We have 2 little kids, so we didn't want to have to rely on buses for our transportation. In addition, everyone seems to rave about the pool, and my family loves to swim, so we thought it would be perfect. The good - the pool really lives up to the hype. The pool complex is made up of a number of pools and is gigantic. The best portion has to be the pool with the sand bottom and sandbar. My kids LOVED it. The location is also great, we were 3 minutes from Epcot (walking#, and 15 minutes #walking# from Hollywood Studios. It was wonderful to be within walking distance of 2 parks. We loved not having to take buses everywhere. The bad - The quick service #Beach Club Marketplace# has awful food and it's way too small for the resort. Maybe it's better for dinner or lunch, but breakfast was so lousy, we never ate another meal there. I also felt the hotel corridors and lobbies felt a bit dated and were nothing special. Nothing nicer than a Marriot. Compared to Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom, the hotel is blah. But you're paying #a lot) for the location, and the great pool, so if that's important to you, then this hotel isn't a bad choice. Next time, we'll stick to Wilderness Lodge of Animal Kingdom Lodge. The ambience is more importance to us.

We loved the Beach Club, from the wonderful smell in the lobby, to the unbeatable location within walking distance to Epcot, to the amazing pool area. We will definitely return!

We had fun at the Beach Club, though the room was pretty average for the money. Two of the light fixtures didn't work and neither was fixed during our 4-night stay (the front desk was notified). The resort is a 5-7 minute walk to Epcot and a short boat ride away from Disney Studios. The reason we booked the Beach Club was because of its massive pool complex -- probably one of the best at WDW. As much as I enjoyed my experience I would prefer to spend a little extra money and stay at the Grand Floridian. That is hands down the best resort at Disney.

The hotel is a great location for reaching all Disney parks and is a 20 minute drive to Universal Studios. Parking is free and convenient if you rent a car. You can also take taxi service to Universal if you do not have a car. The sand bottom pool is fabulous and has a unique design that makes one feel as though they were in different pools depending on the area you choose to swim.

It’s been 17 years since I was last at Disney World and wowza! This place has changed…and not for the better. It’s not that any one thing was an egregious error; it’s simply that the total experience was less than magical. My son and I had packed a ton of patience, but if I had magic fairy dust, here’s how I would sprinkle it to make your clients’ experience even better. Provide the Important Details – Directions throughout the hotel and park were given as “you can’t miss it” or “Just over there.” Or, “just hop on the Monorail.” BUT, what was missing were key details such as that the monorail to the Magic Kingdom requires that you change trains! OR that you need to be on the “B” side of the terminal to get the bus, or that…The list is endless. Patiently take the time to talk and explain new processes to your customers. Remember: You may know your industry and process like the back of your hand, but they don’t! Bend the Rules… at least a little – We arrived late at one restaurant by ONE minute and were told simply “Sorry; the restaurant is closed,” despite it being filled with lingering guests. Still hungry, we walked to another restaurant advertised to be open until 10 (it was 9:32) and were told the exact same thing! After pleading with the manager, we were seated and spied a tempting side dish of polenta offered with the porterhouse. Could I order it? Answer? No! Really? Could you check? No! Finally, I begged the waiter to ask the chef. He never returned, but when our food arrived, it was there…and added to our bill. Bear in mind: deviate from the rules slightly if you can make the experience better. Use Humans WITH Technology, Not as a Replacement – Disney has an app, but with spotty Wi-Fi (not enough to even initially download the app!), we needed real people to give us real answer questions. Throughout our stay, we got curt, clipped answers to what they thought were “not worth their time questions.” Please don’t insult guests by referring them to your site. Note: virtually all information about my speaking business is on my site, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t patiently hotlink the correct links and attach the essential information to prospects. Keep Renovating and Re-Inventing – There’s a difference between retro and dated. Here, at the spendy Beach Club & Yacht Club, the property is truly looking weathered. Rooms need to be modernized ASAP.
