We arrived to a clean home with gorgeous views! Great family space and great sleeping arrangements! Loved this location and super easy to work with management!
the view was great just looking out over the water wow!!!!
We had a great stay and will return. The house was great nice view and wildlife to watch. The key for the door down stairs was great and using the elevator was good to take stuff up. The house was so nice would like to have one like it. It was a very laid back time.
The only comment is that even though the master bed was very comfortable my friends thought the beds in the other two rooms were too firm and could have used a mattress topper
Location was perfect! Area was so peaceful. It allowed us to definitely relax and unwind. The elevator allowed my 90 year old grandmother to stay with ease. My oldest son enjoyed the piano. We fished everyday off the dock. Just what we needed!
We had a great trip! My husband and son enjoyed fishing off the dock and we were able to catch several fish enough for us to have a fish fry dinner! We also enjoy placing the crab trap out, which was provided and were able to cook several crabs with our fish! The only downside is the bottom basement area has not been cleaned in a long time so we weren’t able to use it since there were spiderwebs and eggs everywhere!
The only problem with leaving an honest review is that it undermines the likelihood that this home will be available when I want to book it again. What a fabulous home! It is clean, quaint, nicely apportioned, and it sits right on the water! Being an avid fisherman, I spent my four days catching redfish, croakers and flounder. (One afternoon, a family of otters were transfixed on my every move.) I even prepared a lovely seafood dinner to enjoy while taking in the gorgeous sunset. And, did I mention how lovely it was to watch the dolphins dance in the sunrise? I know it will be difficult to find a slot, but I'll definitely try to stay at Knot Lost again.
The location of this property is absolutely stunning — peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful water views that make it the perfect escape. The home is well-equipped with nearly everything you might need, and the check-in and check-out instructions were clear and easy to follow. The only downside was that the bedrooms could have been cleaned more thoroughly, as I noticed pet hair all over the beds, floor and bathroom mats, as well as, some leftover hair in the master shower. However, I reached out to the host and received a quick, courteous response. The housekeeper came by first thing the next morning and resolved the issue right away, which I truly appreciated. For future stays, I’d suggest upgrading the bedding for added comfort, and perhaps adding frosted windows near the entryway for a bit more privacy — especially for guests traveling solo.Aside from that, this home is a good find and a wonderful spot for some much-needed rest and relaxation.
