Heart of the Redwoodds - KENU Cottage

Your adventure in the California Coastal Redwoods begins at our newest 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom cottage. Inside this beautiful home, guests find a king bed, two queen beds, and a twin bed, perfect for families or groups. The living room features a comfy sofa queen bed, offering extra sleeping space. Two bathrooms include both a shower and a bathtub, making it easy to refresh after a day of exploring. Cozy heating keeps the space warm and inviting. Whether you’re relaxing or getting ready for the day, the cottage provides everything you need for a terrific stay. We look forward to hosting you at our awesome getaway!

We are quite literally in the middle of the Redwood National Park, along Highway 101. We are centrally located among the many Parks, Trails, Beaches & Lagoons in the National Park. Our property is also encircled in several creeks that are fishable. This cottage is one of four homes on our 6 acre property with a small RV Park on the opposite side of the property. This home is filled with the amenities of home as well as a beautiful deck & spacious backyard with a fire pit, free firewood, BBQ (propane provided), & plenty of seating to unwind after your adventures.

You will have access to the whole house which features an open concept living, large dining table, peninsula, bar stools, full-sized laundry machines, full kitchen completely stocked with all your cooking essentials & tools, Smart TV with complimentary streaming apps, a cozy fireplace, whole house heating, & free WiFi as there is very little cell coverage out in our neck of the woods. All linens, towels, laundry, dish, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, storage containers & bags, beach towels & toys are provided.

During our fall months you can enjoy the fresh blackberries that encircle our property. And don’t be surprised if you are visited by our Rosevelt Elk that wonder up and down the highway and throughout the Redwoods.

We are very close to Prairie Creek State Park, Fern Canyon/Gold Bluff Beach, Lady Bird Johnson Park, Trillium Falls, Lost Man’s Creek, & many, many trails & waterways. We are perfectly located for your adventures in the Redwoods & provide an incredible home away from home to rest & rejuvenate in-between those adventures.
