We were surprised by how pretty the property is, although our hotel needed improvements I think it’s still a good experience 5/5. There’s the prettiest beaches around here plus it’s quieter. It’s perfect! I’m recommending to my family to come here.

The on-site stairway down to the beach was closed. We were informed upon check in. They stated it was closed that same day. I would advise calling before booking to clarify if it will be open or not. We had to drive to get to the beach istead. It was inconvenient. Just a heads up to everyone. The room was average, and it was very much a partial view. The balcony was shared with our neighbors. For the price and no direct beach access, we would not book again.

Beautiful setting with well maintained landscaping. Loved that cars are left at parking keeping the rooms area quiet. The cart ride when needed was perfect! Nice extra touches in the room like magnifying mirror! Would’ve liked to known ahead of time that the restaurant would be closed during our stay but otherwise a wonderful place and experience!

Important to realize that these are condos, individually owned and therefore variably furnished, ours was sub par but we saw other, nicer ones. Peculiarly, they charge the same rate for poorly furnished and nice rooms, and for those with nice ocean view and those without. Paperthin walls. We were bothered by a loud neighbor conducting gossip business on the phone. The bldgs cannot be reached by car. Rather, one needs to leave the car in one of two large lots and then move luaggage to the rented unit (on demand, a small golf cart can be called to help with movings one's items). Restaurant on site closes early in the evening and serves no breakfast. Overall, another interesting experience, but never again...

The view from our room was beautiful. That's unfortunately where the positives end. The facility is outdated. Our room was musty and the beds were without a doubt the most worn out uncomfortable beds we have ever paid money to sleep on. My husband went to the front desk after our first night to mention it to them and was met with a comment from the person working that "it sounded like we would need a vacation from our vacation" ... Mind you we paid almost $800 to stay here for 2 nights. The amount of chlorine in the pool was so intense that neither of my children wanted to go back a second time because their eyes were so intensly burnind and fire engine red after using the pool for 30 minutes our first night.

The property, landscaping and walkways and stairs down to the beach were in great shape. The room had a fantastic view and the glass on our deck was clean and allowed for us to see the ocean from all areas of our room. The room could use some updating for sure, and the walls are paper thin, but the property and staff made up for all of this. The pool and hot tub were in great shape and had a great view of the ocean. Very nice and we will be back!

The TV in AA185 works, the CD Player doesn't, and i think the cd controller is broken/problematic. Our problem with the CD was the cd itself, but the controller was not working either. Great view, dated property, the remodel needs a remodel, this unit needs a real clffee bar. Pricing for the view makes sense, but only if the property is as good as the view.

The grounds were amazing. So peaceful and great location close to Depoe Bay and Lincoln City. Loved being able to walk to Devils Punch bowl and the views of the ocean from our room were spectacular.

The property still uses the old fashioned metal keys to access rooms. We had an awful time trying to get the key into the lock, and had to fiddle with it every time we wanted back into our room. Other than that, our view was beautiful, but the property is older and the main restaurant is no longer open - only for special events, etc. Customers had to eat in the bar, which was small and had limited seating and the usual bar food. Overall, the customer service was good, though.

Our room was not stocked on arrival. We had to ask for toilet paper, for example. The grounds are beautiful--a highlight for the property. Stairs to the beach are broken though you can walk a longer way to get there. The alternate route isn't good for anyone who can't handle a lot of hill climbing. Don't wait for the electric cart to help carry baggage to your room. We asked people waiting when we arrived. They said they'd been waiting ten minutes. We checked in and they were still there so we carried our bags. We're younger but for older folks I imagine the hilly walk would be tough to carry luggage. Restaurant is closed Mon-Wed. so be prepared to drive to a town for dining. Its not far though.
