Great view. The food was not good. I had the sole dinner. The asparagus was stringy and the sole was so thin and over cooked. Could not tell it was fish because it was so crispy all the way through.

We go to the coast often but decided last minute to take a couples trip. The fact that the hotel had a lounge and restaurant worked out perfect for us to be able to have a few drinks with dinner and not have to drive. We absolutely loved the rocky coastline in front of the trail and hiking the 804 trail. Overall, no complaints.

Beds were very comfortable and the DirectTV and free internet was nice, but the rooms and the main halls had no air conditioning or ventilation. We had an oscillating fan that came with the room and we had to leave the window open at night so we could sleep. The lobby area had a real briny smell to it which left a bad impression. The rocks and tide pools right at the hotel were nice. This is no fault of the hotel, but Yachats has a 5% sales tax on prepared foods at the restaurants so I’d probably just stay in Newport or Florence in a more updated hotel and drive if I wanted to see any of the Yachats natural areas or parks like Thor’s Well again in the future.

This place is a has been. It may have been a good "resort" at some point, but now it is an over priced motel! The rooms are large and very dated. The overall maintenance of the property is subpar in every way! The staff wasn't rude in any way, but not professional either. A "resort" should have staff acting in a professional manner, instead it felt like buddies met at a bar. The parking lot pavement is failing, elevators old, everything old. Rather than investing and proper upkeep management is letting if fall apart. Keep in mind, there is not much choice in the area. Our room was well over $250 and not worth half that much.

Unkept and dirty room

It was our wedding anniversary and decided to do a last minute trip to the beach. We chose the Adobe bc we had been tired of really dirty and run down hotels. We got into our room and it had a stale smoke smell mixed with bleach. The curtains were hanging funny, the walls were scratched, the chairs were stained from many visitors before us and the room in general looked unkept! I used a towel to sit on the chairs bc it was very gross. We are really disappointed with our stay and the quality of the room. We should’ve had a fireplace according the look of the room online, but we were tired by the time we arrived late on Friday night. We drove 5 hours to get here from central Oregon and were Very disappointed in the room. Our mini-vacay started out undesirable after we saw and smelled our room. We werent going to say anything bc we were so tired after driving for so long and didn’t want to deal with the hassle. Customer Service and food were great!

Always love the stay at Adobe. Room 157 was showing signs of maintenance in coat area. Blue paint was bubbling possible leak down wall. Overall great visit.

Broken fridge, no AC and flies at dinner. I'm rating this room and resort a 4 star because when we got into our room the fridge door was broke and wouldn't close correctly to keep our food cold. Although a prompt response was offered to fix it the following morning, we were tired and wanted to sleep in after a late arrival. We also felt it should have been noticed during housekeeping as the fridge door wouldn't even properly close without a chair in front of it. After a nice Jacuzzi bath in the room we noticed there was no AC, but a small fan to airout the room on a hot summer day with the steam of the Jacuzzi. The next evening we went to have dinner at the resort restaurant and the food was below pare with flies buzzing around your table while you tried to enjoy your meal. So for these reasons I'm rating this location a 4, especially with the price point per night and all other add on cost at the resort. However, I really enjoyed the spacious, clean rooms and ocean view.

The room was very nice we stayed in their largest room.very nice views, the staff was super nice, I really like the text service for when u needed anything.there wasn't to may restraints close by u had to drive about 20-30 mins but it's a great location especially if u want to drive up & down the coast. Depoe Bay is really close & got to see lots of whales. I would definitely recommend. The restraint in the resort had great food & an awesome view with spotlights shining to the ocean to see at night, they had a bar with a pool table & the pool & hot tub was relaxing
