This property was just what we were looking for with two 12ish year old kids. The waterslide was great for entertaining them as well as the kids area of the pool. Easy walk to the beach through the La Cabana resort. Was able to park out rental car easily. Convenient access to the grocery store that carried most of our favorites from home. Will stay again.

We only stayed for one night while waiting for our alternative stay accomodations from another resort to open up. It's a well kept resort, the room was beautiful. I probably wouldn't stay with my family for a whole week, it felt like a good party space but not what I'd want for a long family stay. It has a Dunkin doughnuts on the property which is cool for ice cream and coffee runs. The staff are delightful.i paid $4 per person for breakfast through Expedia and that was a good value but the resort says they normally charge $14 per voucher which imo is not a good value. It's not on the water and there doesn't seem to be any water views at the property. It is only a short walk from the beach.

This was our fourth stay at this resort. The rooms are very spacious with separate living area, kitchen, and bedroom overlooking the nice resort style pool. Not ocean front, but Eagle Beach is just a short walk through the neighboring La Cabana lobby and pool area. The hotel maintains permanent palapas there for guests. We didn’t eat on property this time, but love the convenient Islander restaurant at La Cabana for good, reasonably priced food. The Super Food grocery store is just a short walk away.

Pros: Close to the eagle beach. The overall experience was good. Cons: The hotel policies are not very accommodating. Because of my flight delay from the USA, i ended up arriving one day late. As soon as I found out about the American Airlines flight delay, I contacted the facility and requested them to readjust the dates but not changing the total duration of our stay. I also informed Expedia because I booked the hotel via them. Both of these parties failed to rearrange the dates and I had to pay for one extra night, even though the property was not fully booked. On the day of departure, I asked the front desk staff, if I could check out at 2:30pm instead of 11am, as our flight was at 4:30 pm. They said, I have to pay for the day. I checked out at 10am, kept the bags with the bell boy until we left the property.
