Nice beautiful clean hotel. Excellent staff. Better Marriott location is in fashion island. This one is close to freeway with view of 2 commercial parking lots and small bay.

An item we placed in the refrigerator was stolen after we checked out of the hotel. No one can seem to find it.

they were able to accommodate me with my request to have a bay view room.

Evan is the epitome of excellence-- thank you for your exceptional customer service.

Arrived late Tuesday night. Staff was nice, but a questionable situation with the bed caused us to change rooms, which they did nicely. Thursday night the sitting room phone kept running out of battery and heat would not come on. One staff member was not very helpful about heat. Found out Friday that whole system had been faulty for days. And temperature was below 50 degrees outside. Location on the water is beautiful, but some of these basic issues make me reluctant to recommend the hotel.

Great economy-priced getaway hotel that has quick access to the freeways, Balboa Island, and the greater Irvine area. I did not eat at the hotel's restaurant but spoke to guests in the elevator who'd had a great dining experience.

Rooms are run down, poorely cleaned, my shower had hair all over. Elevator takes about 10-15 minutes to arrive. Use stairs. Very thin walls, you can hear Everything what your neighbors are doing. If u dont mind motel 6 quality but bigger rooms and ok breakfast, stay here.

We had a great time at this hotel. The location was perfect. The grilled corn at the hotels restaurant was AMAZING!!! Like, amazing!! We will definitely be back.

bed was very comfortable....shower too small....no hair dryers in room! had to request one. no free coffee in lobby no free newspapers they do have free water in lobby

I stayed at the Marriott Suites this trip, because years ago I used to live down the street and my Dad used to stay here when he came to visit. He had exquisite taste, too, and the hotel is a classy boutique hotel in prime Newport Beach location on Upper Newport Bay. He's now passed away, but I wanted to remember the nostalgic times we had. The room was wonderfu,l the food was great, the staff very helpful, there were very friendly, knowledgeable people at the front desk ...I had multiple problems with my key card not working and they patiently helped me each time...had a wonderful stay there. Very beautiful, high end furniture in the rooms too, a real class act for the money.

Great hotel, in a great place. Excellent service. Good food as well. Room service very quick!

I have stayed in this hotel before and my expectations were met again. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was able to finalize a home sale on this trip. I will stay again.

The stay wasn't bad. Not much to complain about. Stay was friendly and hotel was good for a quick getaway. The hotel is small and has your basic amenities. On the plus side it is pet friendly!

My guy & I spent our honeymoon here. Overall, we were exceptionally happy. The staff was extraordinary. They worked out a few deals with us & greeted us each time we left/arrived back. Our room was pretty clean for the most part. The only complaint that we would have about the room was no fan in the bathroom. After we would shower the whole hotel room was steaming up!! Other than that, very comfortable bed, great air-conditioning & beautiful view of the Bay. Overall, this is an exceptional place to stay at.

We enjoyed the hotel. It is lovely and clean. The food was very good and pool space was fun. We were surprised by the parking fee and distance from attractions. However, taxies were quick and efficient.

Personell was very freindly and helpfull. Rooms were clean and defenitely had a good night rest.

Staff went above and beyond. Greatttttyttttttttgbghvfcsdfnjvfxssfgbxzscfvg

I really enjoyed this placed. Comfortable room and well thought out floor plan. No wasted space in the room. The gym was really nice and clean. The pool area was welcoming with plenty of chairs and lounges, and fresh towels at the pool area. The hotel lobby was warm and inviting to enjoy. My only complain is one elevator was broken and being on the eighth floor it took a while to wait to going down because only one elevator worked and had to stop at every floor. But it should be fixed now and don't let this stop you from coming to here. The parking was easy and had a space every time! You just have to pay for overnight parking.

I staff was extremely helpful with arranging my room quickly because my flight came in late and I needed to get to an important meeting. Nice work! I'll be back.

This Marriott is a bit of a hidden jewel in the John Wayne airport area. Perched over the Back Bay, it has very nice water views from many rooms and the pool. The pool area is appropriately sized for the hotel, and is well designed by having both a full-sun and shaded area. The both the pool and jacuzzi were clean and well maintained. As we have come to expect from Marriott's, the breakfast buffet was filled with a very good array of fresh fruits, made-to-order omelettes, and other fresh, hot foods. The service was excellent and all staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. I don't think you can do better than Marriott for upscale service and amenities for a good value. We are always impressed!
