We have stayed in multiple units in the Phoenix Orange Beach II building over the last few years and have always been extremely pleased as the property is clean, beautiful, and close to many amenities. Unfortunately, although this unit was gorgeous in photos we found it disappointing. It is an extremely busy time of year, so we were understanding when our room was not available until 20 minutes after check-in. However, we were disappointed to see that there was still sand everywhere in the unit (by the front door, covering the living room rugs, in two bedrooms) and that we found a dishwasher full of dishes from another guest that needed to be emptied by us (apparently the cleaning staff started it when they left the unit?). Worse than that, though, was the absolutely disgusting couch in the living room. It was so riddled with stains that we put blankets down to sit on it. For the amount of money that we paid to stay in this unit, to have it be as dirty as it was was extremely disappointing. To their credit, I was able to text with management and they were very prompt in responding, and scheduled a time with us for someone to come vaccuum the unit the next day at a time that worked for us. Brett/Robinson made the check in and out seamless (although I didn't realize that parking passes were included and we didn't need to go to the lobby--a nice surprise but wasted time on my part). Overall, the property has many other units that are cleaner and better stocked than this one.
