Nice property. As advertised. Clean and well appointed, although not luxurious. Very friendly innkeepers. Matt and Cameron were great, as was their son Elijah. The location was very quiet, although a bit remote. It was ideal for my purposes as it was only five miles from the All Star baseball village where my grandson was playing in a tournament. t was ten minutes plus from Oneanta, and at least a half hour from Cooperstown proper. I would recommend this as a comfortable place to stay, without hesitation, and would gladly stay here again. There were no amenities, but the house was fully equipped (even though I had to share a bathroom, which was not that inconvenient).

Good place to stay if you are going to cooperstown all star village

Great thought went into the way the hosts anticipated their guests needs. A kleenex would be nice, there it was. a chocolate snack in my room would be nice, there it was. Man, a nice glass of wine with that chocolate would be nice, there (the complimentary wine) it was! Waking to the smell of breakfast cooking made me think of my aunt flossy's warm farm house, that was priceless. Tired of chain accommodations? This is your place!

i found this place by mistake and so glad that i did! the hospitality was out of this world, the place is beautifully decorated and they make sure to take care of all the small and big details! would come again.

Charming old building very nicely restored. Friendly owners and other happy guests. Very nice change form the typical hotel stay.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. We were in the area to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, 18 miles away. The Brookside Inn owners were great, the location was really nice, the included breakfasts were terrific. We had a very nice experience there and highly recommend it.

I was in Oneonta, NY, for a weekend conference and didn't want to stay in one of the big hotels. This new Bed and Breakfast popped up in my search and I decided to try it. Although it's about 6 miles outside of Oneonta, the trip to town is easy and pretty. This newly renovated house is beautifully appointed and the owners make you feel at home. Breakfasts are delicious and freshly cooked. I opted for the single-bed room. The room was small and didn't have a closet, but since I was only there to sleep, it didn't matter. The rest of the rooms are spacious and have closets, chairs and gas fireplaces(!) for additional heat. I'd opt for one of those if I was staying for more than two nights. Bathrooms are shared so bring your own soap and bathrobe. Towels are provided. I will definitely return there for next year's conference.

I needed somewhere to stay for my college reunion weekend. The room I had was small and really only big enough for the double bed and a bit of room to walk around it; it was a bit claustrophobic at times. Since I only needed a place to sleep, I was (mostly) ok with it. The owners were friendly and talkative, and greeted me by name when I checked in. The place was cute when she gave me the rundown on where things were and what was available when, etc. However, The stairway looked like it was in between wallpapers and the plaster was quite visible most of the way up. The room itself was quite cozy (read small) and quaint. I felt like I was staying in a maiden aunt's guest room. The only genuine downsides to the place were shared bathrooms and the distance from campus. I'm not used to sharing a bathroom in a hotel. Since I was pretty tired after trekking up and down campus all day I really just wanted to take a hot bath and go to bed, not drive 20 minutes on unfamiliar roads. I'd definitely recommend staying there to someone else, and I wouldn't mind staying there again myself, depending on my plans, but I'll likely stay somewhere closer to campus next reunion.
