Just five minutes from great walleye fishing & boating on Black Lake, minutes from trout fishing on the Blue Ribbon Trout Stream, Black River, five miles from great golf at Black Lake UAW Golf Club, canoeing/kayaking on over 90 lakes, At Lyons enjoy all that Northern Michigan has to offer. In the winter there is ice fishing, X-country skiing and Lyon's Motel has easy access to the nearby snowmobile trails. Lyon's Motel, Northern Michigan's best value.

This was such a charming stay! The room was clean, quaint, and had an old-fashioned character that isn't easy to come by these days. We will definitely be back when traveling to Onaway.
Please don't ever change the duck printed wood panneling on the walls - it was the cutest detail and we couldn't stop adoring it!
