This place is great for a couple of nights if you’re visiting the nearby attractions such as Aoraki/Mt Cook. The facility is older and maybe due for a renovation. However, it still offers a good value. You can park the car right infront of your room. They gave us fresh milk to have with coffee, which was a nice touch! Restaurant options are not great in that small community. Overall, it was a good night stay for us after hiking in the Aoraki/Mt Cook National Park.

Ahuriri Motels vastly exceeded by expectations. Great property with an interesting story. The cabin was much nice and larger than the photos already suggested. I could move in! Very comfortable and a great location. Loved the stay.

Comfortable enough for our stay

Room was very clean and everything in good order. Could park on the grass outside our room which was handy. Friendly team looking after us. A nice touch that they turned a heater on prior to us arriving and there was another heater if we needed it.
