Muy cómoda y recientemente renovada casa de vacaciones en Squaw Valley con grandes vistas a través del valle, incluyendo KT-22 y Headwall. Everything you need for a great family getaway. Awesome Squaw location plus clean large nicely furnished and well stocked cabin. Pet friendly too. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely visit, with 8 adults and 2 babies, there was plenty of room for everyone! We were very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. Great location just a short drive away from the Olympic village.

This is a great property for 2-3 families! It was perfect for our stay prior to Western States. The kitchen is well equipped and I made several big meals while there. Showerhead in the upstairs master bedroom is extremely intense, would suggest swapping out for something gentler. Property management was great! Would stay again!

Perfect weekend stay

Up for a family wedding. Perfect location to the venue and site seeing in the area. It is exactly as described and we could not have been happier. The fans were in the rooms if needed for the warmer days. Bonus was that our dog was able to stay here with us.

Would recommend the following to improve the experience: 1) fix towel bars in some of the bathrooms 2) fix dryer (took 2-3 cycles to dry clothes) 3) replace upstairs pull out couch (springs and bottom collapsed) 4) provide more detergent and toilet paper (only 2 extra rolls and detergent enough for 1 load). Just trying to provide constructive feedback. Otherwise, this was a great rental with an excellent location.

Family Service

Booked this property for a family service. It was the prefect place for everyone to come together and cook and relax for a weekend. Neighborhood is beautiful. Very close to squaw and hiking. The linens could be replaced - if using the sofa bed make sure you put new linens on or bring your own. Kitchen was stocked with things, we brought our own oils and things which I would recommend. It’s good on spices. The deck isn’t safe so was not used - they need someone to look at that. Otherwise make sure you close the garage door at night - day 1 we were greeted by a coyote out back.

Delightful space, perfect location

Our two grandkids and their parents joined us for 3 weeks at Valley View. The space worked. The kitchen is a true cook's kitchen with room for several of us to bustle about. The open floor plan was great and we (the old folks) took the upstairs master bedroom leaving the parents and kids a huge space downstairs. Garage was great for kayaks and bikes. Please consider adding a safety railing on the open side of the staircase. I had an accident and a railing would have prevented it. Please supply bags for the vacuum cleaner. Otherwise, SUPER

Excellent place to stay close to tahoe

This house offers a quiet place to stay away from busy Tahoe lake at the same time is within 20 minutes drive to Tahoe City. I would highly recommend this for families. The house is well maintained and had a lot of space. It is conveniently close to the squaw valley restaurants.

Good and bad aspects

Decent house with huge deck and amazing views. Unfortunately the home does need a few upgrades/repairs. The deck especially with old plywood lining one side of the deck; also there's quite a gap in the railing that would be extremely dangerous for a small child or crawling baby. Also it's definitely time for a new barbecue; it was so dirty and old we decided not to use it. Our managing company Tahoe Getaways was very accommodating. We had issues with the cleaning supplies and they made sure we received what we asked for until completely satisfied.

5 Star Season at Valley View

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed Valley View as a ski lease for the 2019/2020 season (for the time it lasted; we were there during the covid shutdown). Working with the staff at Tahoe Getaways was seamless and professional. When we need a couple items fixed or replaced, they promptly responded and handled them without issue. The location is hard to beat if skiing at Squaw Valley. Great views of the mountain and valley. Neighbors are so friendly (if you have time to get to know them). We hope to rent the cabin again in the future, and would even consider living in the neighborhood permanently. :)

Enjoyed breakfasts and dinners on the gorgeous deck with the breathtaking mountain view. The house was wonderfully equipped with the necessary towels and kitchen amenities. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Plenty of seating and accommodations for our group of 6 plus 2 pups. The laundry was perfect for towel and post-lake cleanup. Strongly recommend and look forward to booking here or another Tahoe Getaway property again. Thank you for hosting us for a memorable family vacation!

Squaw home near village

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the property was very clean with updated bathrooms and kitchen. It should be advertised as for only a party of no more than 8. Also, didn't have a wood fireplace. Although, the gas was barely turned on since the heating system kept the home very warm, sometimes too warm. The loft upstairs should not be used and the staircase is very dangerous. The sofa sleeper in the living room cannot be slept on, horrible mattress. The couch in general was quite uncomfortable and sank as you say in it. Also missing a hot tub which is a bummer since most rentals have one.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 1602 Sandy Way is a perfect destination home away from home. Marvelous views, 4 nicely appointed bedrooms plus a bonus loft made for more than ample room for our family of 11. Clean, comfortable, toasty gas fireplace and TV added to our visit. Kitchen had all we needed and bathrooms (3) even had hairdriers. Our group was in Squaw for a wedding. While others chose hotel accomodations, I know we had the best possible arrangement. Dealing with the rental agents went smoothly. I would definitely stay here again.
