14th-century farmhouse completely renovated located within the Natural Park of the Volcanic Zone of La Garrotxa, 300 meters above the rest of Olot, and with magnificent views over the Pyrenees. 5 minutes from the City of Olot, the Fageda d’en Jordà, the Croscat Volcano and the Santa Margarita Volcano.
It has a living room with fireplace, a large distributor, a fully equipped kitchen, three bedrooms, two doubles and one with two single beds and a double sofa bed, all with separate bathrooms. They are 140 square meters of stay and more than a thousand meters of garden. In the upper part and independent of the rest of the house we live the owners.
Batet de la Serra is one of the most beautiful places in the Natural Park because it combines forests, pastures and some isolated farmhouses with huts and dry-walled walls of volcanic rock. In this place of multiple legends is where the first volcanoes originated, now only witnessed by different lava flows, already cooled and superimposed one on top of the other, which make up a soft relief.
Batet de la Serra is a town and former municipality of La Garrotxa that in 1971 was annexed to the municipality of Olot. It is located in the so-called high plateau of Batet and the population is scattered. As a center, we find the parish church of Santa María, which had once been a school and the parish house.
