The Space:

Our lofted, newly-renovated chalet cabin has all the comforts of home, nestled away in the mountains. Mountain Peak has some of the best views for miles, and is a great place for couples, families or small groups of friends!



The cabin includes:

- Loft-style bedroom overlooking the valley with a queen bed, perfect for catching the morning sunrise (we also have a sleeper sofa in the living room)

- Newly-renovated & fully-stocked kitchen with a stove/oven and microwave

- Smart TV where you can quickly sign-in to your favorite streaming service

- Main room with chalet-style windows to let in tons of natural light

- Fast, reliable WiFi that’s more than enough to stream movies and hold video calls



Outside you’ll find:

- New outdoor hot tub, perfect for relaxing after a long day

- Fire pit with seating for the whole gang

- Large deck & propane grill

- Outdoor yard game treasure box full of activities for kids and adults: corn hole, volleyball, soccer and kick balls, horseshoes, and many more!



PLEASE NOTE: Please be advised you have rented a mountainous property. AWD or 4X4 is recommended. The main and secondary roads are usually paved. However, there are many side roads that are gravel or hard-packed dirt surfaces. You may experience potholes, ruts, steep inclines, and rough terrain. Most front-wheel drive vehicles have no trouble accessing the property from these roads if you drive safely and slowly. We do not recommend low-profile vehicles such as sports cars or motorcycles. During inclement weather such as snow or ice, you may be required to have 4-wheel drive or tire chains. We also recommend Travel Insurance during the winter months. We do not give refunds for road conditions that are out of our control.



Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, but due to the natural setting, you may still notice some leaves, pollen, or similar—especially during certain seasons. We appreciate your understanding as nature tends to leave its mark, no matter how often we tidy up!



We often take our three little kids and dog to the cabin with us, so we're very family and dog-friendly. Unfortunately we don't allow cats (we're allergic).



In the area:

- Feeling adventurous? Twin Mountain Off-Road Adventure is just a few mins away, with ATV trails, courses & classes

- Looking to get on the river? Drive 7 minutes into town for access to the Potomac River (launch your own boat, rent kayaks/canoes from Breezewood Adventures

- Love the outdoors? Drive 15 mins to the South Branch Wildlife Management Area and hike through over 1,000 acres of dense hickory and oak forest, teeming with wildlife
