Cottage in the countryside

The cottage sits high on a hill with wonderful views in seven hectares of land which it shares with two other houses, out of sight of one another. It consists of two separate blocks, one bedroom and bathroom divided from the main body of the cottage by a few steps and a semi inclosed furnished veranda which incorporates the open plan living room/kitchen and larger bedroom with bathroom. Outside the whole front and side of the house is a stone patio with covered verandas. It has been built by the owner with many windows, wooden floors and natural plaster finish. It has a beautiful garden with rocks, wild olive trees, aloe, etc. The property is reachable by car and the last km of the road is unsurfaced and can be rough especially on the last 400mt.
Best suitable for SUV , 4x4 or cars with a good ground clearance.

This is a new cottage, built by the owners with a great deal of care to construction details and interior design to fit in the natural landscape, just finished in 2019.

This cottage is in the vicinity of a bigger house situated in the same property . Both houses are holiday letting keeping their privacy and can host together up to 10 /11 guests.

Einfach ein Traum

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in dem wirklich für uns perfekten Ferienhaus. Man braucht ein eigenes Auto um zum Ferienhaus zu gelangen und der Weg dahin ist schon ein reines Abenteuer. Im Haus angekommen erwartet einen einsame Ruhe in wunderschöner Natur. Bei einem Glas Wein kann man die wunderschöne Aussicht genießen. Zu den naheliegenden Traumbuchten fährt man ca. 20 - 30 Minuten, was wir völlig in Ordnung finden. Das Ferienhaus ist genauso wie auf den Bildern abgebildet. Die Besitzer haben sich beim einrichten wirklich Mühe gegeben und das kann man sehen und spüren. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

super schönes Cottage, weit draußen mit viel Ruhe

ein toller Aufenthalt! Super vorbereitet mit Tipps zur Anreise, dem Aufenthalt. Ein Freund der Vermieter hat uns begrüßt, alles gezeigt und bei Fragen war er erreichbar. Zufällig lernten wir kurz vor Abreise auch die sehr netten Vermieter persönlich kennen, was den persönlichen Charakter nochmals unterstreicht. Das Haus in seiner "fast-allein-Lage" bot uns die gesuchte Ruhe vom Alltagstrubel und ist an einem Hang mit sehr schöner Aussicht und großer Terrasse gelegen. Ein Teil der Terrasse ist als Patio überdacht angelegt und bietet auch Schattenbereiche. Der große zentrale offene Wohn-Koch-Essbereich bietet viel Platz, den nicht nur wir sondern auch unsere beiden größeren Hunde genießen konnten. Das Schlafzimmer war ausreichend groß, das Bett vielleicht etwas zu weich (für meine Verhältnisse) aber dennoch bequem. Der Weg von Arzachena zum Haus dauert ca. 15-20 Minuten und ist auf den letzten Metern eher als Feldweg anzusehen und nicht für tiefergelegte Sportwagen geeignet. Zum Strand, von denen es in der Umgebung so viele Schöne gibt, dauert es auch ab 15 Minuten ... Nachts hört man nichts außer Grillenzirpen und in der Ferne einigen bellenden Hunden von den entfernten Nachbargrundstücken Insgesamt haben wir uns super erholt und würden dieses Haus sicherlich wieder nutzen wollen. Klingt zu perfekt? Zum optimieren ... Eine Teekanne wäre schön, und ... ein Insektenschutzgitter vor dem Schlafzimmerfenster gefiele uns besser als das Moskitonetz über dem Bett.

Absolute Empfehlung bei sehr lieben Vermietern

Wir haben zwei wunderbare Wochen bei Federica und James verbracht. Vor Ort hatte uns Marco, der Nachbar, immer sehr freundlich und kurzfristig weitergeholfen. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll und modern eingerichtet, es gibt sogar eine Spülmaschine und eine Waschmaschine. Ein Grill ist auch vorhanden, in dem nächsten Supermarkt gibt es immer verschiedene frische Fischarten oder auch Schaschlikspieße zum Grillen. Der Ausblick vom Garten aus ist auch wunderschön und ruhig, von dort aus kann man den Sonnenuntergang ungestört beobachten. In einem der Bäume lebt eine niedliche Zwergohreule. Für uns war es wichtig, dass die Unterkunft etwas abgelegen und ruhig liegt, was der Fall war. Mit dem Auto können die Traumstrände in ca. 30 Minuten erreicht werden. Es handelt sich ausschließlich um Sandstrände, die zum Teil flach und somit geeignet für Kinder sind. Wir waren sehr viel wandern, Federica gab uns zahlreiche Hinweise für geeignete Routen. Federica hat auch die Adresse eines Motorbootvermieters weitervermittelt (dieser hat sehr solide Preise, die Boote können ohne Motorbootführerschein gefahren werden), der Ausflug wird mir lange in Erinnerung bleiben. Wir kommen nächstes Jahr auf jeden Fall wieder!

Erholung pur in schönster Umgebung

Abseits von Touristenströmen haben wir uns in diesem überaus geschmackvoll eingerichteten Haus mit ebenfalls wunderschönem Aussenbereich bestens erholen können. So etwas findet man selten! Relaxe and enjoy Sardinias Nature

The house is beautifully decorated and well equipment, located in the beautiful landscape of Sardinias hinterlands. We also saw many animals (turtles, rabbits, butterflies) around the house. However, you do need a good SUV to reach it as the roads are quite stony and full of holes (and full coverage if it is a rental car!) The house is the perfect place to spend a quiet time and relax. The only negative thing was, that there is no air-conditioning. As it was quite hot during our stay, the nights were not always completely relaxing.

Ein kleines Paradies...

Das Ferienhaus ist eine Oase- Natur pur, herrlicher Blick, wunderschöne Außenanlage mit vielen idyllischen Plätzen zum Entspannen und Genießen. Die Räume sind stilvoll und mit vielen liebevollen Details eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt und die Pfingstferien (optimale Reisezeit- Wetter wechselhaft, aber angenehme Temperaturen, die Strände noch nicht so stark frequentiert) sehr genossen. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier richtig.

Wenn einen der stets hilfsbereite Verwalter Marco bei der Ankunft in einem "kleinen Paradies" begrüßt, verspricht er nicht zu viel. Das gemütliche Steinhaus mit weitläufiger Terrasse liegt herrlich in der Natur mit weiten Blicken auf die umliegenden Berge. Absolut ruhige Lage abseits der großen Touristenströme. Die beiden Gebäude mit getrennten Schlafräumen und Bädern sind top ausgestattet und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Für Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit liebende Gäste absolut empfehlenswert. Wichtig zu wissen: Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants ca. 15 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt, Strände 20 bis 30 Minuten.

Wunderschönes Haus in traumhafter Lage

Unser Aufenthalt war wirklich perfekt: Das Haus ist geräumig und sehr gut ausgestattet (auch in der Küche haben wir nichts vermisst und die Betten waren sehr komfortabel). Die Lage ist wunderschön, der Weitblick beeindruckend. Unsere Highlights waren die Abende auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang und später die Sterne. Tausend Dank an Fede und Marco (die Übergabe lief völlig unkompliziert) für die vielen tollen Empfehlungen von Restaurants, Stränden und Sightseeing Spots, dir einen vergessen ließen, das wir im August auf Sardinien waren. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder 😀

Tolles Haus in wirlich schöner Umgebung

Die Bilder geben das Haus und die Umgebung genau wieder, ein insgesamt richtig toller Aufenthalt, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Einen besonderen Dank an Marco für die Tipps, Ratschläge und netten Gespräche. Für die warm-heißen Tage im Hochsommer wären für die Türen bzw. Fenster in den Schlafbereichen noch Mückennetze wünschenswert, um den abkühlenden Effekt der Nächte besser umzusetzen.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft in herrlicher Natur gelegen

Wir haben eine Woche in diesem tollen und sehr liebevoll eingerichteten Haus verbracht.Es ist alles notwendige vorhanden.Die Lage ist gut.Man kann die Ruhe genießen und ist dennoch in 30 Minuten bei vielen schönen Stränden.Würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Beautiful all round

We were guests in this wonderful house in October. We felt very comfortable! We love the warm and stylish furnishing of the house, the calm and the wonderful view over the valley including the sunset were simply indescribable. The contact to Marco, the keeper of the houses, was great and very warm. We'll definitely be back and we're already looking forward to it!

Wonderful retreat in calm nature

We (couple with dog) rent the beautiful house for two weeks (end Aug / early Sept 2021). It is located at the end of a field road in the hills south of Arzachena. Driving there the last 500 meters is a little tricky but practicable - leading to a hideaway you cannot expect a highway ;-). The house is mainly built and furnished with natural materials, mostly self-made by the owners and you can feel their passion of doing it. Inside it´s very cosy, an elegant mix of old and new, stuffed with all comfort you need. The view from the patio is stunning (in the day and at night) and it´s absolutely calm. The next supermarket or restaurant is approximately 15 min away, the next beach 25 min. The communication with the owner Federica is very kind. She has a lot of tips about beaches (not too crowded), good restaurants or agrotourisms and other useful things for your holiday. Likewise Marco, the caretaker of the house who lives nearby, is a very helpful and open-hearted person. So for us it was perfect to relax and take a break from everyday life, a magic place with a special spirit we can absolutely recommend.

Tolles Haus in toller Umgebung!!

Das Haus liegt relativ einsam südlich von Arzachena und ist ideal, um einmal komplett abzuschalten. Es ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und besitzt einen einzigartigen Flair. Obwohl es erst 3 Jahre alt ist, hat es Charakter. Besonders von der Veranda hat man einen wundervollen Blick auf die umliegenden Hügel. Um das Meer zu erreichen, benötigt man allerdings mindestens 25 min mit dem Auto. Marco Bruno, der das Haus für James und Fede verwaltet und ca. 200m entfernt wohnt, ist wahnsinnig hilfsbereit und beantwortet alle Fragen fast zu jeder Tageszeit in Sekundenschnelle. Wenn es um Insider Tipps geht (z. Bsp. nicht überlaufene Strände, gute Lokale, Möglichkeiten für Freizietaktivitäten), so sind James und Fede eine hervorragende Informationsquelle. Wir waren als Familie 2 Wochen im August 2021 Gäste in ihrem Haus und können es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Wunderschönes Zuhause auf Zeit um sich zu erholen

Wir haben im Juni 10 Tage in diesem schönen Haus verbracht und es rundum genossen. Das Haus ist wunderschön und die Umgebung traumhaft. Das Haus ist mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet und hat uns alles geboten, was wir uns für unseren Aufenthalt gewünscht haben. Unser Highlight: In der Hängematte den Nachmittag ausklingen lassen und dann auf der Außenterasse das Abendessen genießen. Das Haus liegt abgelegen und es ist absolut ruhig. Einzig die Zufahrt zum Haus, war bei unserem Aufenthalt noch etwas herausfordernd, weil die Straße in keinem guten Zustand ist, aber uns wurde gesagt, dass das in Kürze behoben sein sollte. Wir möchten uns auch noch einmal ganz herzlich bei Marco bedanken, der uns vor Ort empfangen hat (und auch auf dem Grundstück, etwas weiter entfernt wohnt) und uns jederzeit ein herzlicher Ansprechpartner war. Wir können das Haus nur empfehlen und hoffen dort selbst noch einmal eine Auszeit genießen zu können.

Perfect hidden gem

** For english see below** Das geräumige und liebevoll dekorierte Haus ist traumhaft gelegen an einem Hügel zwischen wilden Olivenbäumen und Granitfelsen. Von der Terrasse öffnet sich tagsüber ein 270 ° Grad ins fast unbebaute Tal und nachts auf den fast lichtfreien Sternenhimmel. Das Haus ist erst 2020 vollständig renoviert worden. Dementsprechend sind alle Geräte in absolut neuwertigen Zustand und funktionieren problemlos. Das Haus ist mit antiken englischen Möbeln dekoriert, was sehr schön mit den alt anmutenden aber neuen Materialen des Gebäudes harmoniert. Die Internetverbindung ist stabil und gut. Der Kamin funktioniert. Die Kommunikation mit den Besitzern war genauso ausgezeichnet wie mit dem freundlichen Nachbar, der sich um das Haus während ihrer Abwesenheit kümmert. Die Anfahrtsbeschreibung funktioniert sofort. Die Anfahrt unbefestigte Nebenstraßen selbst erfordert etwas Mut und eine Unterbodenversicherung. - Insgesamt 100% empfehlenswert ** English** This spacious and beloved decorated house is located on a hidden hillside between rual olive trees and solitare granite rocks. The shaded terrace provides a 270° panoramic unspoiled view down into the valley, with only few other houses in daylight. At night you will enyoi the almost light-free view to the stars. The house has been completely renovated in 2020. Everthing is in best condition. The hous has been nicely decorated with antique english furnitures with a high level of attention to details which perfectly fits to the traditional but new materials the house is built of. Internet connection is strong and stable. The wood-fire place is in good working order. Communication with the owner was smoth from first enquiry until departure. Same with the communication with the friendly neighor who takes care of the house during their absence. Driving directions were precise. Getting there on untarred roads demands some driving experiance and recommends additional insurance cover on the vehicles underbody. - All in all 100 % Recommended
