Der var ingen personale, ingen reception, helt mørkt i vinduerne og vi kunne ikke komme ind. Det viste sig at døren bandt, men det opdagede vi først ved at ringe op, men vi kunne ikke finde et telefonnummer. Vi stod udenfor og frøs i tyve minutter. Vi fik så hjælp fra en butiks ansatte. Det viste sig, at der var sendt en sms dagen før om værelsesnummer. Men vi kunne ikke åbne linket. Værelset var pænt og stort. Men badeværelset var meget koldt og uden varme.

En skøn, lille tidslomme med smilende service

Man bliver på forhånd oplyst om, at der ikke foreligger mulighed for køb af mad ud over morgenmaden. Den er til gengæld helt fantastisk; der bliver dækket et fint og velassorteret bord, af en yderst imødekommende værtinde. Vi var meget tilfredse og nød at have maden “for os selv”, frem for at skulle tage fra en morgenmadsbuffet. Værelserne er pæne og rengjorte, og indeholder hvad man har brug for, for at få en god nats søvn. Og skulle man have lyst til at se fjernsyn, så forefindes et sådant på hvert værelse. Ovenikøbet med mulighed for at vælge imellem flere forskellige, herunder danske, kanaler. Vi kunne godt lide at befinde os på et hotel, som netop har en årelang historie i Oksbøl. Det har ændret sig igennem tiden, hvilket også har sin charme. Min familie og jeg - der har jyske aner - håber meget Turisthotellet får lov at bestå længe endnu!

Dejligt ophold

Vi havde et virkelig dejligt ophold på dette hyggelige sted! Ejeren var utroligt sød og hjælpsom og gjorde en stor indsats for, at vi skulle føle os godt tilpas. Hun lavede havregrød til vores lille datter om morgenen, og vi blev forkælet med den lækreste morgenmad – både frisk og smagfuld. Det betød også meget for os, at hun stillede en mikrobølgeovn til rådighed, så vi nemt kunne varme mælk til vores datter. Det er de små ting, der gør en stor forskel, og det mærkede vi tydeligt her. Det eneste lille minus var, at værelset var meget varmt om natten, og vi endte med at gå over i butikken overfor og købe to varmeblæsere for at kunne sove ordentligt. Men det ændrede ikke på, at vi overordnet havde en rigtig god oplevelse og ville komme igen uden tøven. Kan varmt anbefales ☀️
