Check in was kind of slow and the staff was not well trained. After having asked for my ID they wanted to give me a different room made on a different name reservation, while asking me is this you? Very surprised I asked them whether they read my ID because it was not my name, not even similar. Later we had a fire alarm. Everybody had to evacuate. However there was no assistance or advice from the staff. While the people were standing outside and some sitting in the middle of the lobby, Front staff continued to check in guests while fireworks were walking around and checking the premises. Even after one hour no announce from the hotel staff about the situation or that it is safe to return to your hotel room. The hotel staff is absolutely not trained for such happenings. Very happy that this was a false alarm. Because of this I will not return to this hotel.
After 9 days in Tokyo on business, I was looking for a place to unwind, do washing and generally chill out before heading off to Singapore for another week of work. The hotel ticked all the boxes. Paid the extra for an Exec room and it didn't disappoint, with good space and amenities plus Level 9 had a lounge area to well, lounge around, with drinks available for refreshment. The pool and bar area were excellent and the view of the sunset and harbour was great. Then came breakfast. What a feast. I didn't want to leave as there was so much variety and good quality. Overall, The Aqua Citti gets 5 stars from me.
The best part about this hotel is food and services. Breakfast is awesome with ample choices of Italian food/soup and lots of fresh fruits. The desserts were extremely nice and exceeded my expectation. I also enjoyed the welcome drink - a cup of single origin coffee which soothed my day. Front desk is very helpful. However, the hotel itself is a bit small for family travelers, and it is more suitable for business travelers or couples with a beautiful and small pool on rooftop. There is about 15 minutes walk to the Main Street, for people travel with family, it could be quite tiring. Walk straight to Family mart and turn left and walk along for another 10+ minutes.
From the evening we checked in until the day we checked out the service was excellant. The staff did everything they to make our stay very pleasurable. The Breakfast Buffet was outstanding. The roof top pool and area were very nice and relaxing. The location was in walking distance many attractions and places to eat. The room was small but livable, Wifi was good, bottle water, coffee and tra was provided in the room. Coffee and water available in the restauant area 24hrs was good. We enjoyed our stay and would stay if were to visit Naha again
WE stayed here because it was located near the ferry marina. Nice surprise. Hotel is very nice, with a very good breakfast buffet. The pool area on top is very nice, the bar is very pricey. We had just one drink a piece. Taxi to the airport ran about $12 USD.
Hotel is located right in the naha city and most of the places or eateries are stones throw away from the hotel. We enjoyed on the 10th floor swimming pool which may be small but is an amazing concept. Loved to have a look at the road below while swimming and having cocktail besided the pool. Service is nice and they do service cocktails besides the pool, we were with kids who freaked out in the pool. Would though recommend to provide more services near pool like towels, shower etc otherwise a good hotel. Highlight surely is the breakfast which is really amazing !! Live pasta and pizza counter was one of the best I have seen in japan, surely you will not be disappointed for the breakfast spread as it's really amazing.
Room was small, I think not enough for you to open 2 luggages. Wifi not stable, room was not clean as expected, especially the dusty exhaust fan in bath room, horrible. I's appreciate that if you didn't want staffs to clean room, they'll put a bag of supplement outside the room. It's so thoughtful. Staffs were helpful, can speak English. Although not much kinds of drinks, near the lobby have a comfortable area for you to enjoy free drinks. A small see-through pool on the top floor. Pool bar is next to the pool and the area seems to be larger than the pool. If you want to get the Yui-Rail, need to walk about 10 minutes to Miebashi Station. It's a little bit dark at night, not much street light. Also it's not easy to get a taxi outside this hotel, normally need to walk to the nearby junction or traffic light, it took about 3-5 minutes.
We booked a few weeks before we checked in. USD250 per night on the rate. The swimming pool in the pictures were amazing but the reality is completely opposite, there are only 2 sun bathing beds in the whole place, no chairs nearby the pool. I had to skip swimming at the end. There are total 4 pillows on the bed, but they are super small, I request from the front desk asking for 4 more pillows, I am so shocked that there is no extra pillow supply. Towels are too small and thin, very bad quality. This hotel not even have basic service and facilities, to me it is not worth more than 2 stars.
We booked this hotel after the weather forecast for our trip was quite rainy so we didn't think it was worth travelling too far from Naha for our short trip (2 nights). On arrival we were pleasantly surprised to find we could check in early and helped ourselves to a complimentary coffee. Complimentary tea and fruity waters also available 24/7. The standard room was small but perfectly adequate for a couple. It would be tight for a family so I would recommend choosing the larger room in advance. The room was clean and came with slippers, pyjamas and a cool phone (Handy) which you could take and use during your stay, nice touch! My wife and I really enjoyed the rooftop pool, especially at night with the lights in both the pool and bar area. The pool is open from 10am - Midnight and the hot tub is also really relaxing. The pool is not heated which might be an issue for small children. We are from England and not used to the Okinawan humidity so the cold pool was refreshingly welcomed. We didn't have a drink in the mixology cocktail bar as we were busy swimming but it looks nice with a good range of cocktails. Not sure whether they do beer or wine too. They didn't have draught beer but they may have had some bottles in the fridge. Moving onto our highlight which had to be the breakfast. At 2200 it isn't the cheapest breakfast around but it is more than worth it for the amazing range of options available (see pictures). Having stayed in a Ryokan recently where we didn't get on "too" well with the Japanese breakfast choices this was amazing to have all sorts of sweet things including loads of fruit, salad, cheese, meats, pastries and more. There was also a choice of different coffee's, freshly brewed. We came down to have a look on the first day, before we made a decision and I can safely say we immediately decided to have it and got up early the next day to make sure we maximized our time for the buffet. We would recommend to other travelling to Naha and after a nice hotel at a reasonable price. If the weather forecast was better we would probably have ventured further to a beach resort but we think this place was perfect for our trip and we had a very enjoyable stay. Many thanks
The hotel is located in the center of Naha, literally anywhere you go will pass the hotel, highly recommend for first time travelers to Okinawa. The pool at the top floor is phenomenal, but way too many people taking photos instead of enjoying the pool up there though. Overall it is great with reasonable price, will book again if I come again.
