Toilet Olympics

Breakfast included meant microwaved crepes and instant coffee. We had to ask the front desk to have the room cleaned because the cleaning lady only wanted to do it if we had been there three days. We had to step on or over the toilet to get into the shower because of the whacky placement of the toilet and sink which was unnecessary because there was certainly room for the toilet to be out of the way.

OK for one night stay

If everything is booked or you are on budget, this place could be a choice. Don’t expect much. You get what you paid for. Adv: city centre, water provided; decent breakfast. Disadvantage: VERY small room, poor WiFi, staff was smoking inside the building even though it is prohibited (seen the bartender who was smoking on the 3rd floor).

The worst hotel i visited in my life !! The staff in the lobey not respected the clients , i ordered a room and took another one because they dont have free room like which i ordered , airconditioner working one hour a day , breakfast like animals food ... nooooot recommended at all

Not as the Ritz, however much then a tent!

Though this not so lovely hotel may not be a 5 star hotel it how ever it has a some what a dorm atmosphere to it small no window room , wall are as are thick as paper and it does have an lift or elevator and they both worked. The eating area though not very charming, just simple has a wide vie of the corner street below. The staff there were very friendly even though, I did not speak Russian and they tried as best, they could and we did in there somewhat in broken English and some universal language such as pointing and making jests, plus the help of a lap top by using Google Translate, it helped a lot! All and all my stay was quite pleasant and enjoyable happy staff who did there best as best as could be under the circumstance. This is after all a old hotel. I may come back some day! Great bazar not far away and a gigantic farmers', butchers' and fishermen's market and bazar area not far from the zoo and not far from the hotel. And from the hotel down to the sea shore is within walking distance of about 1 or so km , there are buses and trolley cars and taxies to take you where ever you wish to go!

Great location, friendly staff, breakfast poorer.

We have stayed at the hotel before and appreciated its quirky style and free breakfasts. They re still free but often disappointing. Rooms are overheated and public areas are not air-conditioned so far as we could detect. Staff remain helpful but rooms are only cleaned when you leave - not daily.
