Great Weekend Getaway

Home was well maintained and Clean. Exactly as described and in pictures. Secluded from the crowds but only 12 Minutes from the beach and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Corporately Owned Meant An Impersonal Experience

Beartrap Dunes is a beautiful community. We have stayed here many times. A couple current kinks: Inconsistency of the beach shuttle - paid $55 amenity fee per person and two days the shuttle never came to Stop 4. 1 day, we left after 1 hr. 15 min. and drove ourselves. Restaurant - we went to dine twice. Painfully slow. The second time we left after 1 hr of wait. Upon arrival the condo front door code did not work. We contacted Jeremy by text and he Facetimed us. It was a less than welcoming experience. No "Hi Guys! Sorry about this experience. Let's get you squared away." He seemed to not think we entered the code correctly but again, it was not working and he had to give us a new one. He promised we would get instructions to reset it to something shorter (his was 10 digits) but the instructions were not in the condo nor emailed to us as promised. The wifi was out but a simple restart of the router got it going again. The condo was very clean and the decor is very welcoming. Kitchen is well stocked. We used the "one free round of golf offer" on two different days at Beartrap. The first day (Monday), they had no record that we had a free round coming to us despite the condo management firm making the reservation for us. The second day (Thursday) things went more smoothly. Property mgmt co is obviously not local. VRBO details about shuttle were wrong. No instructions in the condo about where to take trash or recycling. We missed the personal interaction with a local owner.

Beautiful townhome close to everything

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 128 October Glory in Oceanview, DE last week (June 2023). The house itself was beautifully furnished and well-maintained. It provided us with a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The location of the property was perfect, offering convenient access to the beaches, the charming town of Oceanview, restaurants, grocery stores, and other amenities. While the community pool was within walking distance, we found it more convenient to drive, especially when carrying pool gear. However, we did encounter a few issues during our stay. Firstly, the master toilet was not properly secured and tended to move. Additionally, we discovered a dirty pan in one of the drawers, which had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. The pantry floor had chocolate chips scattered all over it, which was not a welcoming sight upon our arrival. Furthermore, the back patio table had not been cleaned. Another minor inconvenience was the lack of clear labeling on the remotes, the lack of essential cooking items such as cooking oil or spray, and no cutting board. While it is not uncommon for guests to leave such items behind in most rentals, this particular property required us to remove everything, including napkins and paper towel rolls, which we could have left for the next guests. Lastly, the kitchen and bathroom faucets could benefit from an upgrade. Despite these issues, the experience was comfortable and enjoyable. We would recommend this property for future guests.

Bear Trap's Best

We've stayed in another condo and a home in Bear Trap and this condo by far was the best. We will definitely be coming back as we have family that live in Ocea View. Can't wait to come back.

Enjoyable stay, very well supplied kitchen, extra “free” amenities, great location, comfortable bed (we only used 1 BR). Living room furniture adequate, sofa & loveseat not to comfortable for us; soft & slouchy type, we’re 70ish!! lol

Great Place

This property was great for our family as we had relatives staying in a neighboring development that we were able to ride our bikes to for visits. We did not take advantage of all of the amenities that Bear Trap offers as we spent most of our time at the beach at Fenwick Island which is only a 15 minute drive away. We would definitely stay here again.
