Surf Cottage - Luxury beach getaway

One of a small group of cottages nestled among mature trees and lush gardens, in one of the best coastal locations on the Bellarine Peninsula, this seaside gem can comfortably accommodate up to four people.
Incorporating original timber features, this recently renovated cabin also boasts modern luxuries including stone benchtops and European appliances (oven, dishwasher and front loading washer) in the kitchen, large flatscreen TV and DVD player with DVD library, large range of family board games, books, an iPod sound system and complimentary wireless broadband internet access.
The main bedroom has a Queen bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. A portable cot is available at no extra cost for guest with infants.
The living area includes a gas heater for the winter months and split level air conditioner for cooling on hot summer days.
Relax on the verandah or enjoy reading or entertaining in the private garden patio area under the trees.
Take a two minute walk to the magnificent main surf beach for brunch at the Dunes cafe or a leisurely stroll to the main street of Ocean Grove with all its essential shopping, dining and entertainment amenities.

Surf Cottage is a self-catered accommodation. You provide your own sheets, pillowcases and towels and everything else (doonas, doona covers, pillows, kitchen and dining essentials etc.) is provided.
Surf Cottage is not allowed to accept guests with pets due to body corporate regulations.

Ocean Grove Easter Weekend

Communication with Stewart was excellent, easy check in process, being able to check in early was a bonus.Location was excellent, 5 min walk to the beach and not far from the Ocean Grove Shopping Centre.We had our Son and family for lunch and having a well equipped kitchen was extremely helpful

A beautiful coastal cottage south of Geelong.

Loved the property. A very short walk to an amazing swimming/surfing beach. And also a 10 minute or less walk to groceries and liquor shops and restaurants. Wished I could have stayed longer. The kitchen was nicely stalked with everything you would need. I would highly recommend “Surf Cottage” to anyone booking in Ocean Grove.

Everything you need is provided! Even the things you forget!

Clean, compact and partially private. They thought of everything you could want or need. This stay was the first of many where I did not have to pop out for anything I’d forgotten because Stewart and Faye thought of everything! The location was close to shops, restaurants and most importantly, the beaches. And after a long day out, it was divine to soak in that amazing deep bath. Well done Stewart and Faye! Highly recommend it!

Cosy log cabin in perfect location

So close you can hear the ocean. A cosy comfortable log cabin in a treed and well tended native garden. Well priced and excellent location 10 mins walk from shops and 2 mins walk from beach. The cabin is in a village of other log cabins but with plenty of privacy being well spaced out and with mature gardens. Good communication with owners.

Great Location

Perfect getaway. This is the third time we've stayed here for a quick getaway. You can walk to the beach and the shops and the cabin is very comfortable. The host is very responsive and we plan on coming back again next year.

Everything you need for a little get away

Surf Cottage is a perfect two-bedroom cottage for a small family getaway. The owners have thought of absolutely everything to make it feel like you're at home - games, DVDs, books, ample crockery and cutlery, comfy beds, a huge bath, even extras like cookbooks and kids wetsuits! Our only issue was we were only visiting to attend a nearby music festival and so didn't have time to fully enjoy everything the cottage and the nearby area had to offer. We'll be back!

Exceeded Expectations

Surf Cottage is a true gem. In my opinion, the pictures provided undersell its loveliness. It truly is a short, easy walk to the beach (and the wonderful Dunes cafe!) and the main street is also within walking distance. The cottage contains all the facilities you'll need during your visit (yes, even a washing machine). The hosts were easy to contact and always answered promptly. I didn't meet them in person, but all communications were cordial and helpful. I've recommended this accommodation to my friend and family, and I expect we'll visit again, too!
